The Musical Theater an der Wien and the famous art gallery Vienna Secession' is located across the street, practically on the doorstep.

You live right next to the famous multicultural and vibrant Vienna Naschmarkt ( !! just across the street !! ) - a fascinating very large open market, the largest open air market in Europe! You can buy here freshest fruits and groceries from all over the world. You find there also numerous excellent restaurants (international cuisine), very relaxed coffee shops and cozy bars, nice beer gardens etc. Each Saturday with an additional very large interesting flea market.

You live also only few minutes away from the central metro node Karlsplatz - very convenient - you can easely take the subway direct to the 'UNO City', the 'Schloss Schoenbrunn', the famous 'Wiener Prater', the recreation area 'Danube Island' and many more...

Excellent location, adequate accomodation

Overall - a good accommodation. The owners are extremely obliging and helpful. Apartment is clean and adequate for two people. Vienna has too much to see and do that you are only coming to the apartment to sleep? What's wonderful here is location. If you walk through the Karlsplatz underground space you can get to the state opera house in about 7 minutes. We stayed there a week, and we only had to use transportation of any kind when we went to visit Shonbrunn - which we strongly recommend, BTW. If you do go there, make sure you take the grand tour, rather than the imperial one: they saved the best rooms for the grand tour. There are two grocery stores nearby, and n our opinion it is better (and definitely cheaper) to shop there than in the Nashmarkt. Keep in mind: not all apartments in this building have built in clothes washer. Ours did not, and we had to use the washer in the basement. The owners obligingly provided the needed coins and detergent, but still it is inconvenient. Also, the streets are noisy in the early morning (delivery, garbage, etc.) and on Saturday night (some people have too much of a good time). If you are forced to keep the windows open during the night (no A/C, and the summers are getting hotter), your sleep may be disturbed. Another thing: if you arrive on Sunday, lots of places, including groceries and restaurants, are closed. Enjoy your stay in Vienna

Perfect for our stay in Vienna

The studio was large, bright, sparkling clean and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. The owners were responsive, accommodating and friendly. Great location. Couldn't ask for more.

Perfect central location

The apartment was cozy, very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Perfect central location for sightseeing, direct beside the Naschmarkt with uncountable bars and restaurants. Only short walk to a lot of attractions. Cecilia and her husband were very pleasant and helpful she was availed to answer all of our questions. We would definitely return!
