Enjoy our private single family 2 bedroom, 2 bath home. Mostly renovated from floor to the ceiling and 120 steps to the Gulf of Mexico. Great for sun worshipers and fisherman alike. An easy stroll to the second largest estuary in Florida awaits you and we have free kayaks to enjoy both. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! Incredibly we have the home mostly renovated after Ian, including new furnishings, and the best stocked home on the Key. Best shelling around or you can swim, fish, boat, or make it a “Lazy Day” and just read in the hammock. The best location on the Key! We are between the public beach (.6 miles) and Stump Pass State Park (1.2 miles) on the beach side of Gulf Blvd. For those not familiar with the island, property to the north of the public beach is a rocky coastline while property on the bay side means dragging your belongings across a busy road. Stumpy’s “free ride” has a stop at our home and will take you any where on the island for a tip. You just can’t get any better than that.
Kick back, chill out and grill. All you need is food, drinks and your bathing suit. We’re not kidding, we have it all😎. Spoil yourself with complimentary kayaks, bicycles and all the beach toys you need. Enjoy the most beautiful and undiscovered beach in Florida. We are dog friendly. There are big screen smart T.V.’s in every room, high speed internet, Netflix and plenty of books and games, so make yourself at home.
If your wild about nature, you will love the stroll to Stump Pass Park. There are 265 acres of sandy trails, boating and miles of pristine beaches. The wildlife is amazing. Artists and sun worshippers aren’t the only species drawn to our little island. Our breathtaking beach is also popular with wildlife and ecotourists. It isn’t unusual to be joined by a heron on your walk, see a pelican fishing as you throw out your line, or perhaps you’ll come across a dolphin at play while kayaking the blue waters. Take a walk on the wild side and watch the sea turtle nests come alive with hatchlings May 1 to October 31.
Finding fossilized sharks teeth is a favorite find of beach walkers and you will find many among the mounds of shells. Snorkel in the clear water for sand dollars and everything tropical. Put up your umbrella because there’s lots of room. We’re just far enough from the public beach that you can enjoy the sunsets undisturbed.
For all you fishing enthusiasts, the area is the second largest marine estuary in the state. You will find hundreds of species in our waters. Boat to nereby Boca Grand the “Tarpon Capital of the World”. The area has dozens of boat ramps so bring your boat. We have plenty of room to park.
