It is a comfortable and welcoming chalet with all mod cons.

It is located 300 m away from the slopes of Planard. Nearby, you will also find a ski school, a ski equipment rental shop, an amusement park, and a children's club.
150 m away from the train of the Mer de Glace (sea of ice), bars and restaurants

The chalet Flocons is part of a complex including 4 luxury half-chalets: Ebène (sleeps 10) and Caramel (sleeps 8), Café (sleeps 10) and Flocons (sleeps 8), for a total of 18 beddings in each chalet and 36 beddings in the complex.
We wanted to create a complex of two chalets that could accommodate families. Each chalet has its own space.
There are situated in a quiet area but remain close to all activities and attractions.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a great week at this chalet. It is brand new, and everything was clean and fresh. The lovely Michaela met us when we checked in and checked and out and was available for minor issues like light bulb replacement, etc. And although the chalet is connected to another, the walls are so well-insulated that we never heard anything from the folks next door. The chalet is a short walk to the Planard Lift, which caters for the most part to beginners, but the free bus system is so well run that you can get to any of the major ski areas quickly and easily form the bus stop which is less than a 5-minute walk away. The chalet is also a short walk to town, where you'll find hundreds of shops, restaurants, etc.
My disappointments with the chalet are relatively minor, but here goes: The 1st Floor Powder Room does not have a sink, so after using the WC, one must either head to the kitchen or to one of the upstairs bathrooms to find a sink. Although the 4 bedrooms and two full baths readily accommodate 8, and the Dining Table is plenty large, the Living Area is quite small, and would not comfortably seat 8. The kitchen is handsome and well-equipped but oddly lacking a freezer. And lastly, considering that we were coming from abroad without any of our own cleaning supplies, I had hoped to find at least a starter pack of soaps, D/W detergent, etc. and more than one small roll of toilet paper per bathroom.
