Overview

About the property

1 BR, 1 full BA, and 1 quarter BA. Sleeps 4. Great location!

Sweet cottage in great location in downtown Rehoboth! Hidden Pines is one block from main street and just a half a mile from the beach. Even though the cottage is steps to fine restaurants, bars, and shopping, its location on a quiet, tree-lined block set back from the street keeps it as quiet as the country. Our lush, fenced-in private garden provides a relaxing, calming environment from your morning coffee to your evening barbecue. Downstairs is a living room, dining room and kitchen combo with a queen fold-out that sleeps two. Sliding glass doors open to our beautifully-landscaped yard that extends the space from April to October. Upstairs is our large bedroom (queen bed) and a newly-renovated full bath, with tub and shower.

Just park your car once and enjoy Rehoboth's restaurants (everything from fine dining to fun and quirky), shopping and beaches of Rehoboth on foot! Everything you want is a short pleasant walk away. Hidden Pines is perfect for a couple or small family, and makes a great romantic retreat all year round. On rainy days, relax with a book, CD, video or board game from our library, or cook a gourmet meal with ingredients fresh from the Farmer's Market just a block away!

Sorry, we can't have any pets! We have allergies.

We look forward to having you at Hidden Pines!

About Ruth Eisenberg

We live in Washington, D.C. and have been visiting Rehoboth Beach for 30 years.

Ruth Eisenberg purchased this cottage in 2000

Why Ruth Eisenberg chose Rehoboth Beach

This is a great little house - cheaper than a hotel, super-convenient location, great yard, make all your own meals in our well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful, quiet, landscaped yard increases your hanging-out space. Many of our guests become regulars and return year after year. We love it and hope you will also.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Loved staying here for a girls weekend with my two friends from college. My only regret is that it rained for most of the weekend and we weren't able to spend more time enjoying the beautiful sanctuary that is the yard. I will certainly be coming back for my next beach trip!

Awesome stay, superb value

  • 5 of 5

I had an AMAZING time in Rehoboth thanks in no small part to Ruth & Leti an their gorgeous, quiet cottage just off Main St in Rehoboth! I was only staying for a few nights but it was well worth it. The place is comfortable, feels VERY private, is cutely decorated, and has a great private garden where I could decompress with a coffee in the morning. Plus the location is fantastic, just steps from all the best commerce in Rehoboth and not too far from the beach either.

I hope to stay again!

A true gem in Rehoboth Beach!

  • 5 of 5

This was my third time staying at the cottage and it was great as always! The first half of the trip was spent with my husband. We enjoyed being able to walk to Rehoboth Avenue in the evenings for dinner after a day at the beach. After three wonderful days together, he returned home for work and I was joined by a friend for the rest of the week. It was her first time staying at the cottage and she LOVED it! In her words: it is quaint and welcoming with all the amenities you need for a trip to the beach. As a repeat visitor, I was thrilled with the recently renovated bathroom and evenings spent relaxing in the courtyard. The only time we had to drive anywhere was to go to the beach at Delaware Seashore State Park, but if you're willing to walk to the beach with all your gear you can do that from the cottage. It was awesome to enjoy all the shops along Rehoboth Avenue without worrying about paying the meter since the cottage is just a short walk from all the action! Our trip is proof that the cottage is perfect for a couples getaway or a girls trip. We're already talking about book next summer's visit!

Perfect for us!

  • 5 of 5

Ruth & Leti's cottage was simply perfect for us. What a treat to be able to walk everywhere, put in a full day/evening and come back to our secluded comfy Cottage. We treated ourselves and ate out everytnight...too many great walking distance restaurants to list..because we hadn't vacationed in almost 8 yrs. Next time, (and they'll be a next time) we'll grill up some fresh seafood back at our private, lush grotto. WONDERFUL Thank you Ruth & Leti Linda & Andy Bodnar PA'17

Summer Sojourn in the Pines

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is one of the most charming locations we've stayed in at Rehoboth. There were only 2 of us, but there was room for 2 more easily. Quiet location, off the street but room for bikes in the back garden, the cottage had everything we needed for a much needed vacation. Full kitchen, separate super comfy queen bed upstairs, great air conditioning (while it did get to a heat index of 108 outside we were nice and cool inside). Location is amazing, 1 block to the main street, lots of shops and restaurants around the corner but you never felt like you were crowded, or busy in town; rather just steps away from the main drag we had our own private hide-away. And the owners are great, very responsive to all questions and a pleasure to work with. An amazing place, will definitely come back!

Charming and convenient

In the heart of Rehoboth on an tree lined street. Walking/biking distance to everything, but very quiet and secluded feeling. Loved enjoying a glass of wine with a book in courtyard every evening. Responsive hosts.

Fantastic location on a quiet street only one-half mile from the boardwalk and one block from shops and restaurants on Rehoboth Avenue. We are also very close to a beautiful bike path.
