Space 65 m²
Property type cottage
Minimum Stay 3 - 7 nights

About the property

1 BR, 1 full BA, and 1 quarter BA. Sleeps 4. Great location!

Sweet cottage in great location in downtown Rehoboth! Hidden Pines is one block from main street and just a half a mile from the beach. Even though the cottage is steps to fine restaurants, bars, and shopping, its location on a quiet, tree-lined block set back from the street keeps it as quiet as the country. Our lush, fenced-in private garden provides a relaxing, calming environment from your morning coffee to your evening barbecue. Downstairs is a living room, dining room and kitchen combo with a queen fold-out that sleeps two. Sliding glass doors open to our beautifully-landscaped yard that extends the space from April to October. Upstairs is our large bedroom (queen bed) and a newly-renovated full bath, with tub and shower.

Just park your car once and enjoy Rehoboth's restaurants (everything from fine dining to fun and quirky), shopping and beaches of Rehoboth on foot! Everything you want is a short pleasant walk away. Hidden Pines is perfect for a couple or small family, and makes a great romantic retreat all year round. On rainy days, relax with a book, CD, video or board game from our library, or cook a gourmet meal with ingredients fresh from the Farmer's Market just a block away!

Sorry, we can't have any pets! We have allergies.

We look forward to having you at Hidden Pines!

About Ruth Eisenberg

We live in Washington, D.C. and have been visiting Rehoboth Beach for 30 years.

Ruth Eisenberg purchased this cottage in 2000

Why Ruth Eisenberg chose Rehoboth Beach

This is a great little house - cheaper than a hotel, super-convenient location, great yard, make all your own meals in our well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful, quiet, landscaped yard increases your hanging-out space. Many of our guests become regulars and return year after year. We love it and hope you will also.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Loved staying here for a girls weekend with my two friends from college. My only regret is that it rained for most of the weekend and we weren't able to spend more time enjoying the beautiful sanctuary that is the yard. I will certainly be coming back for my next beach trip!

Awesome stay, superb value

  • 5 of 5

I had an AMAZING time in Rehoboth thanks in no small part to Ruth & Leti an their gorgeous, quiet cottage just off Main St in Rehoboth! I was only staying for a few nights but it was well worth it. The place is comfortable, feels VERY private, is cutely decorated, and has a great private garden where I could decompress with a coffee in the morning. Plus the location is fantastic, just steps from all the best commerce in Rehoboth and not too far from the beach either.

I hope to stay again!

Lovely stay in a sweet retreat

  • 5 of 5

Great stay at this cottage and since the weekend storms were relentless, we spent almost the entire weekend inside! Movies, napping, reading, cooking, sleeping late, staring longingly at the lovely garden area that we did not get a chance to enjoy...

Good location just a block off the circle and easy street parking in front of the house. The cottage was complete with exactly everything we needed for a long weekend. The kitchen was well appointed and the bedroom was quite large. The tv stand is a bit low to see the tv from the bed, but if you sit upright or watch from the couch it was no problem. The bathroom was adequate. The owner was wonderful to communicate with prior to our visit and clearly goes out of her way to make sure you get all your questions asked. Thank you!!

I will mention that finding the house in the dark is not easy ~ and the uneven brick pathway to the cottage door would be challenging for anyone with balance issues.

We hope to be back on future trips to the beach!

Small cottage perfect for our small family!

  • 5 of 5

My wife, myself and our 1 year old spent 4 nights in this cozy cottage. It was clean and comfortable. We felt at home immediately. Ruth was great especially since this was our first Home Away stay andI needed some extra assistance when we first checked in. I gave her a call and she was right there to help.. Thanks!

Lovely, comfortable, convenient

  • 4 of 5

We loved this cottage. It was comfortable and away from the hustle and bustle of the busy boardwalk area, yet still within walking distance of the beach. Perfect for our needs.

Secret garden on Sussex

  • 5 of 5

My husband and wanted a beach getaway in Rehoboth. This was a delightful, comfortable secluded cottage. It was 5 blocks to the beach, which was about a mile away, you could walk or drive. Being off season, parking was easy everywhere. We were only blocks way from some of our favorite Rehoboth restaurants and shops. The house was clean and cozy, well equipped, perfect for a couple or small family. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who wants the quiet of a country vacation with the access to beach fun.

Cute lil cottage

  • 4 of 5

This cottage was well kept and clean. It was a bit of a distance to walk to the beach but definitely doable. The owner was easily accessible and quick to communicate when needed. I loved the private garden off of the living room, the space felt open and airy. My only suggestions to improve our stay next time is to replace the clothes iron that is old and not working, include an ironing board (its nice to clean up and go out to dinner with ironed clothes) and perhaps add/update the restaurant/take out menus in the binder under the coffee table for guests when they want to know whats nearby or dont feel like cooking. None the less, an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Thanks so much for opening your home to us!

Fantastic location on a quiet street only one-half mile from the boardwalk and one block from shops and restaurants on Rehoboth Avenue. We are also very close to a beautiful bike path. Park your car once and walk anywhere in Rehoboth Beach. Within a short distance you can drive to golf, pier or surf fishing, movie theatres and several outlet malls. The towns of Lewes and Bethany Beach are a short drive.
