A detached, brick built barn conversion in the heart of the Cheshire plains. Guests enjoy ample natural lighting, and uninterrupted views of the countryside.

A comfortable home with everything you need for an enjoyable stay: bedding, towels, television, local area guides, PS3, free Wi-Fi, outdoor seating, free parking and bike storage to name a few.

Family friendly, we can provide you with a high chair and cot upon request. We want you to have a lovely time, so if there is anything we can do to help make your stay more perfect before your arrival, please just ask.

Fantastic New Year Stay

We stayed at the property for 2 nights over New Year.

Great location for local sights. We went into Chester and also visited Cheshire Oaks and Blue Planet Aquarium.

The Barn is very spacious and provided enough room for 4 adults and 2 children. Very well equipped inside. Even though the barn is on the property of the owner the barn itself feels completely separate with fantastic views.

There is a local village with a few pubs 5 minutes walk away. If we would have stayed longer we would have tried the local Chinese that seemed very popular.

The Barn itself is open plan downstairs which makes use of all the space. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs which sleep up to 4 people in one bedroom (double bed and 2 singles) and a double room in the other with an ensuite wet room.

We wished we had booked for longer.

Thank you for letting us stay and we will be recommending to family and friends.

A well fitted-out cottage, lovely open living space, comfy bed, good facilities. Only one small point to note: WIFI not always reliable, or fast. Convenient location for Chester, Cheshire Oaks, lots of country walks.

Excellent accomodation, with one or two glitches

The accomodation is excellent. Downstairs is a large space, well furnished and decorated, plentiful seating, cooking and eating facilities. Upstairs are two ample king-sized bedrooms, one with en-suite wetroom. The building is in a good setting, and it's only 5 miles from Chester, bit busy to get there during rush hour, but usually very easy. We were staying in a December weekend, and the heating had to have a run at warming the downstirs area up - no problem upstairs, very snug and comfortable. This was more to do with the daytime, when the thick curtains are open, than the evening. The problem appears to be a gap in the middle of each of the two double-doors: they need draft proofing. Oh yes, and I couldn't get the wifi to work properly, no matter how many things I tried, the signal was very weak, good enough to get emails eventually, but not for significant data downloads. The views from the lounge and area around the accomodation are very attractive, and bode well for those visiting during warmer weather.

Just what the doctor ordered

We had a wonderful few days at Bona's converted barn. The huge field next door was perfect for our Border Collie to run and get tired. The stove fire was a welcome treat.

Our accommodation in Chester was warm and spacious. Lovely outlook from back alfresco space. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival. Close to local pubs and shops. Few minutes drive to Chester
