5 star stay
This apartment is positioned in a great location. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the "city centre" via easily walkable streets. The area is quiet and residential. The house contains all amenities needed for a short stay- full kitchen, washing machine, central heating (great for drying clothes, too) and the most comfortable beds! The entire house was spotlessly clean. Extra towels were provided too. Communication with Mark was easy, despite us only being available via wifi connection. There is a charming courtyard at the rear which would be lovely in warmer weather. Initial provisions included our preferred fresh milk, which is a thoughtful touch. Access to the house is easy and well communicated. All in all, No 3 Powlett Road provided a welcome and comfortable place to stay for our three nights. I have no hesitation in recommending this property and would happily return.

A friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in October. The house was clean and cosy and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable visit. The location is fantastic. Would love to visit again.

Bath Property Rentals is a small family run business. Based in Bath we specialize in bespoke properties catering for the needs of holiday makers and commercial guests alike.

Why they chose this property

No.3 Powlett Road has been owned and operated by the family since 1947. The property incorporates the best of modern conveniences whilst maintaining traditional Edwardian style.

What makes this property unique

No.3 Powlett Road is a beautiful Edwardian town house set within the leafy, tree lined streets of Bathwick. The general area is quiet and is popular with local families.

The city centre is no more than a 10 minute walk away. The walk into town takes you along some of the most prestigious streets in the country such as Great Pulteney Street and Laura Place. These fine examples of Georgian architecture have appeared in many films over the years.

No.3 Powlett Road also has a wonderful rear garden that comes into its own during the spring through to October. The rear patio area has been planted with grape vines, pear espaliers, figs and dwarf box hedging. This gives it a real continental feel in the natural sun trap of the patio enclosure.

The remainder of the garden is used as a kitchen garden, being planted with the usual vegetables associated with an English garden. It is flanked by an impressive privet hedge that typifies the general suburban feel.
