The Downtown House - 1820s home steps from Main Street in downtown Galena

Just steps from Main Street in downtown Galena, this beautifully rehabbed 1820s vacation rental home sleeps up to 7 people. And there is NO additional cleaning fee!

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots & pans, dishes, etc. Coffee and tea are provided. There is also a washer and dryer if you need it for your personal use. Laundering the sheets and towels is my job :)

Enjoy central air conditioning, high speed wireless internet, stereo system as well as cable and streaming-ready/smart TV.

There is a king bed in the master bedroom. The second bedroom upstairs is more of a loft setup and has 2 XL twin beds (no door and serves as access to the master bedroom). There is a twin bed (with an additional trundle) in the main floor bedroom and the living room has a sleeper sofa.

Bedding, towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner and hair dryer are also provided.

Great house, greater location

Perfect location in downtown Galena a short walk to shopping, restaurants and nightlife. The house was perfect for my family of 5 with a bed for everyone. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the well stocked kitchen and had no problem finding whatever utensil or pot/pan that we needed. The house was very clean and stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, etc... We will not hesitate to rent it again.
