About this property

Newly built New England style home with modern furnishings in quiet seaside neighborhood. Sleeps six. Two minute walk to neighborhood beach, short drive to downtown Portland's renowned restaurants and micro-breweries. New York Times acclaimed Lobster Shack is a 5 minute drive on Cape Elizabeth's rocky coast.

You can swim, or sit on a quiet beach steps from our home. The house features three bedrooms and two baths, including a walk-in shower and a tub for those who like a luxurious soak. Radiant heated floors downstairs make it heavenly warm even in the cooler weather, plus the living room features a gas-fired "wood" stove you can cozy up to. Mini split units in each bedroom and living area, for quiet, convenient heat or air conditioning.

Fully equipped kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and everything you need if inspired to cook. The two upstairs bedrooms have queen sized beds, and sliding doors onto the second story deck which offers views of Portland Head and Ram Island lights.

First floor bedroom has a full size bed and is directly across from the bath with walk-in shower.

Back yard and patio equipped with picnic table and gas grill for evening barbecues. Beach chairs and towels provided, or sit out on the deck and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Cape Elizabeth Vacation

Many thanks to Penny for providing a vacation home exactly as advertised.It was very clean and tidy with excellent kitchen equipment, although we barely used it due to eating out most of the time. Even though our visit was out of season, we were able to find restaurants still open. Overall, a very pleasant stay and well worth the 8 hour drive.

Wonderful home in Cape Elizabeth

Lovely home in a fantastic location. House was clean and comfortable and it had all the things we needed (towels, beach chairs, pots/pans, etc.). The best part was the private cove that was just across the street. We loved combing for bits of sea glass. Highly recommend renting a kayak or paddle board to explore and enjoy! Very close to many beautiful beaches and to downtown Portland.

Sisters Week

I would stay here again. The location is perfect for taking day trips to Portland and points north or going south to beaches. The owner takes pride in making sure the house is clean and comfortable and is easily reached if there are issues. Great place!

Lovely cozy home in great location.

We would definitely recommend this property and the host was very communicative and helpful. The home was spotless and the kitchen had everything a family would need for cooking full meals or just to heat up take out. It was very sunny and very comfortable.
