So disappointed. 100 hundred characters is not enough to describe by extreme disappointment!!!!!!!
I was given an email 4 days prior to check in stating that our reservation for four wasn’t being honored- I was asked to either sleep in a tent or the owners room- if there wasn’t room for 4 (what I put on reservation request) the reservation should NEVER been accepted in the first place..I was flying in late at night - planning to meet my wife who was driving in with our 2 kids-I expected to have a room for 4,NOT three, then was told I couldn’t sleep in owners room - was offered a cot
When I saw Mr. Scott's reservation for 2 adults and 2 children For Aug 8,9,10, I contacted him and told him the room that can sleep 6 , was already booked For Aug 8, but I said I could give him the other room which can sleep 3 and also someone could sleep in my bedroom for the night of Aug 8, and then on the 9th and 10th I would move them to the other room which can sleep 6, and I also said that the children could sleep in the backyard tent if they wanted to, as I have a very nice large tent with very comfortable cots in that. He indicated to me that he would prefer to all sleep in the same room, so I said I could put an extra cot in the bedroom and then they would all be in one room for the night of Aug 8, then I would move them to the other room which can sleep 6 for the remainder of their stay, these were only suggestions that I made to Mr Scott, as I was trying to accommodate him, it was his choice as to whether or not he wanted to do this, he indicated that he was good with that. He was never told he could not sleep in my room, as I said he indicated that he would prefer the whole family stay in one room, so I offered the extra cot for the children to sleep on while Mr Scott and his wife would sleep on the queen size bed. I did everything I could to accommodate his family and it was his choice whether or not to stay here. This the first negative review I have ever gotten, I guess you just can't please everyone, no matter how hard you try.
George was wonderful, very approachable....views were stunning.
Excellent hidden gem
Property itself is beautiful - you can hear and see the Greybull river and see a million stars over the peaceful valley. Trophies and framed pics are cool and all have a great story. George was a great host, a spectacular cook and knowledgeable tour guide. Make sure you take the back country tour, you will not regret it! You will see incredible views and travel hidden logging roads while elk and pronghorn graze alongside the road. We felt very at home, more like visiting relatives than strangers. Kids adults alike loved the friendly dog Hunter and mules Buddy, Angie, and Rowdy. Our dogs stayed in the huge kennel/yard area while we went fishing and shooting right down the road or headed into town or to Yellowstone. Trust me, you won’t find a happier or more peaceful place to stay!! Thanks for your hospitality George, we won’t soon forget our stay in your home!
Thanks for the review Layla, It was fun having you and Jerod and the boys!!
