Wonderful peaceful retreat
We needed a peaceful and stress free place to attend a function nearby. This was a perfect fit. The location was close to everything, but tucked away from heavy neighborhood traffic. The home is a single story and easily accessible for all. The inside is well decorated and immaculate. Very warm and welcoming. The pond can be seen from all bedrooms and main areas, and adds to a serene setting. We traveled from North Carolina to Olympia, WA and could not have found a better gem. We are most grateful for the owner’s accommodations and communication. This one is an A+.

Truly worth a five star rating
I am pretty generous with my reviews, but this truly stands out as a five star rental in all ways. I almost want to keep this a secret so it will be available more. The house is absolutely spotless and a beautiful home. The setting is ideal, the Walden Pond experience as stated in other reviews. Leslie is so good to work with and we will stay here again when in Olympia. Thank you for sharing your home Leslie.

I purchased this acre of wooded land in 2016 and oversaw the building of the new home following my retirement in 2017. While it is still a work in progress, I am enjoying every improvement and season. l spend time outdoors on the land, planting a dahlia garden, fishing with my grandson, walking the nearby pathways, and entertaining guests on the deck.

Why they chose this property

The Pacific Northwest has always been my home. I know the seasons, the flora and fauna, the easy-going socio-economic culture in which I live. To reside on this piece of nature is to see deer, rabbits and squirrels roam the green property daily. Canadian geese, blue herons, ducks and waterfowl are in the water constantly, feeding on the abundant fish and vegetation.
There are occasional bald eagle and otter sightings as well. Living here feeds my soul.

What makes this property unique

Friends have described this setting as serene, peaceful, mesmerizing, breathtaking, relaxing, comfortable, cozy, and fun. Even though I am the steward of this land, I am willing to share its beauty with others who appreciate the natural surroundings.
