About Donna Lankford
I was born and raised in Bellville and proud to call it home. Brad and I live off site and are proud parents of our daughter who is a recent Aggie graduate.
Donna Lankford purchased this House in 2015
Why Donna Lankford chose Bellville
The building was originally home to a newspaper that had been moved from where the library currently stands. Through the years it has been a bar, antique store and many restaurants. Built in 1877, it has lots of history. Brad and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in the early 90's when it was a quaint, romantic restaurant called Holland House. When I purchased it, the floor and walls had many license plates covering holes. Some of the holes in the floor, we were told were bullet holes from the days when it was a bar. The 1936 plate which is hanging by the front door was taken from the floor and restored. The sign above the dining table was made with the flooring from the back rooms of the building in which the lumber is a mixture of species, textures and patterns.

Great place to stay.
Absolutely fabulous!! Great stay, great location and great hostess! Looking forward to coming back on a girls trip.
The Holland Haus is so cute, clean and has everything we needed and more.
Donna is a wonderful host! My friend left her prescription medication there and Donna was so gracious to send it to us.
I would recommend the Holland Haus to anyone.
Best VRBO Stay Ever!
Beautifully-decorated, roomy, fun place to stay! Perfect for a couple's getaway, a family vacation or a girls' weekend. This home has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxed stay - we loved the comfortable living room furniture, the spacious kitchen island, the well-stocked pantry, and the comfy beds. Each room had thoughtful details and interesting decor to enjoy. We would recommend staying at Holland House to anyone. You will not be disappointed.
Charming Pet-Friendly stay
Donna’s places was absolutely spectacular! Very clean, and cozy. Conveniently located on Main Street. We got married in Chappell Hill and our dog was in the ceremony. This was the nicest and closest rental we could find. About a 20-30 minute drive away and it was totally worth the beautiful drive. We had two other family members stay with us and their two small dogs and we all want to come back just to stay there longer. The beds were super comfortable and after an exciting and busy day it was such a nice place to lay our heads down.
Great location and fun to stay inside too
My husband and our two daughters really enjoyed our stay at Holland House. The full kitchen had everything we needed. Loved having three bathrooms and Netflix. We enjoyed a great breakfast from Newmans Bakery and decent dinner at Galileo's; went to the 4th of July parade in Roundtop; afterward we shoppedat Henkel square, ate at Teagues Tavern where I enjoyed a special red white and blue drink for the 4th called "The Mueller Report".; then listened in on a violin Master Class at the Edythe Bates Chapel. The highlight for me was watching the peacocks strutting in a field around the corner. The only regret is ordering pizza from Pizza Hut. Guess we're spoiled with Collinas in the Heights. Thanks Donna- we enjoyed our stay. You're a great host.

"Hidden Gem Of Texas"
The "Holland Haus" is simply AMAZING, and so is Donna the owner!!!! Donna goes out of her way to ensure that her guests are well taken care of and that all their needs are met. We are so happy we found this "Hidden Gem Of Texas" and found it very hard to leave behind. We felt at home here. Donna has equipped the house with all the necessities anyone may need; with some extra specialities. She has creatively decorated and furnished the house with impeccable taste. We were beyond pleased with our stay in "Holland Haus" and look forward with great anticipation to retuning in the near future!!!!
