A top location for 6 people with a stunning view of the square

With a great location in Carcassonne, this newly renovated, 66-sq.m flat boasts four windows that give onto the Place aux Herbes or the fruit market open three times a week. The south-facing flat is full of light and offers a spacious lounge with two sofas, and an equipped kitchen featuring a family table. It all has French hardwood floor from the 19th century. The sleeping facilities include two bedrooms with two en suite bathrooms called "Rouge Corbières" and "Lilas Minervois" for the colour palate recalling the two vineyards in our Cathar region. This is a wonderful location on the stunning Place Carnot because it has free concerts all summer long, permanent amusements, and a magical Christmas display on your doorstep. As a welcome gift on arrival, we provide a local bottle of wine. This is a great place for all halfway between the Canal du Midi and the city of Carcassonne. There are parking spaces nearby making arrival by car easy.

This is a prime, city centre location in Carcassonne. We are just 10 minutes from the airport and 3 minutes' walk from the train station. All manner of cultural spectacles and delights pass through the square. As the flat is south facing, it is full of light and sunny all day long. The kitchen is fully fitted. The living room offers two sofa beds and there are also two bedrooms with two en suites. The wealth of storage space is designed to make your holiday easier.

Great apartment in a great location

This apartment simply oozes charm. It's close to the cité and canal du midi and there are lots of restaurants on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend it.

Neat apartment

Neat apartment. It is ideally located at town square with a short walk to carcassone medieval city. Same owners as cafe downstairs. We enjoyed our stay and liked visiting the medieval city, wineries, museums and churches.

Central apartment with a great host

The apartment has modern decor and is very convenient to the Gare, shops and transport to the medieval city. It has spacious and comfortable living areas and the kitchen is well equipped. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are adequate for a weeks stay.

We enjoyed the buzz of Place Carnot especially for breakfast and evening drinks. There are many good restaurants nearby and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Do take he train to Quillan as it is worth a visit.

Max and the staff at his cafe, Carnot Salon de The, are very welcoming and Max was always happy to help and advise us.

A very good spot to enjoy the atmosphere of Carcassonne.

Lovely apartment, great location, very helpful owner

We stayed at Maxime's lovely apartment just above his restaurant on Place Carnot, the central square in the "new" city of Carcassonne. It's a very short walk to the paths leading to the old walled city. The covered market is a few blocks away, and Place Carnot has an open market three days a week. The apartment is light and airy,opening onlo the square, with comfortable beds and a nice shower. The apartment is exceptionally well equipped for cooking, so we shopped at the markets and made dinner one night. Max is at his restaurant downstairs to help any time we needed it, as we did for restaurant recommendations. Max communicated with us very effectively and quickly by email and messaging. Highly recommended!

Super located appartment in towncenter.

Verry clean and nice decorated appartment with all necessary facilitis. Verry nice and helpful host. Secure carpark 5 mins away in interior Parking.

Nice and good priced food in the restaurants near the appartment.

We totally recommend this appartment.
