Beautiful little home
We only stayed one night on our way to our destination and loved it and would absolutely come back to stay for a week. Only downside is it was very difficult to find but it was quite a adventure looking for it ā¤ļø

A good value. Nice place. We knew it was going to be cold and we brought warm clothes but the bed warmer was a great surprise.

A getaway in the mountain!
It was a little tough to find this hideaway ( signage on the road might be nice) & parking is limited for this property 4wheel drive is recommended. but worth it for the views and seclusion with the deck basically right over the Savegre River which we enjoyed fly fishing. There are a few minor things that need addressed such as repairs to stairs (mostly due to the humidity here I'm sure)and need for new towels ( which were clean just worn). Soda Donna Marlen is Walking distance and has great food!

New Cabin
This is a relatively new cabin and is well-located and clean. It is right on the river with accompanying sight and sound. It is a very comfortable place to stay. The only issue that we had was it was very poorly stocked. If you want a glass of wine, you will be sharing the one and only wine glass. That is true for most of the other cooking and eating utensils. It would only take a few bucks to stock the place well and it would be great. Keep in mind that it gets very cool at night and the cabin is in a canyon. The one very small electric heater does not even begin to take the chill off of the place, so dress warmly.

Close to the airport, easy to find.
We needed a place close to the airport, and this was it. Used Waze to find it, and had no problem. (Can't say that for other locations in Costa Rica lol). It was near the shopping district and the town center, but our bedroom was away from the street noise. There was a bit of noise from other guests, but that all died down by about 10 so then it was fine. It was clean and simple, just a small room with a shower and a comfortable bed. Just was we needed. Didn't try the breakfast because we had to catch an early flight.
