About this property

A beautiful two bedroom modern apartment with incredible views of the city. It's perfectly located, one street from San Blas Market but tucked just off the main road.

A fully equipped kitchen, gas powered shower and heating throughout ensures you’ll feel at home. For the digital nomads we offer fiber optic internet, desk, ergonomic office chair and 26" screen plus a great view.

A 3 minute walk gets you to the Bohemian neighbourhood of San Blas with a wealth of cafes and restaurants.

The space
The apartment is based within a modern apartment block and the newly furnished apartment will exceed all your expectations. We have recently imported a heating system to ensure that you will be cozy during the cold Cusco nights.

The open plan living space has plenty of areas to relax. We have a brand new 55" smart television, fast internet (average speed 250-500mb). In addition, you will find different guidebooks on the bookshelf, recommendations on the blackboard and board games below the television.

The kitchen is a full working kitchen with a full size fridge, microwave and water filter. You have everything you need and more to cook dinner.

At the rear of the apartment you will find the two bedrooms. The double bedroom has a very comfy double bed with an electric blanket. It also has the option to have a desk, ergonomic office chair and 26" monitor for those working or studying remotely. The second bedroom has two single beds, built in wardrobes and a safe. The two bedrooms lead out on to a balcony, which is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee whilst taking in the morning sun.

And most importantly, with a gas powered shower you are always guaranteed hot water any hour of the day, a rare find in Cusco.

In addition to the balcony in the apartment you can also go to the rooftop of the building to see amazing views of Cusco. There are table and chairs where you can work from or enjoy lunch in the sunshine.

Other things to note
We are lucky to have a wellness studio on the ground floor of the building and are able to offer one free 60 minute session in the Hyperbaric Chamber (perfect to beat the affects of altitude sickness) (1 per party) plus discounts on all additional therapies that ReEnergize Cusco offers.

If you would like to check in earlier that is no problem as long as the apartment is free. We can also offer to store luggage in our apartment if you will be coming back to stay in the apartment.

Cusco Stay

Our stay in this apartment was really nice. The apartment was really clean, had really great internet, really nice deck, beautiful views, good amenities, and a nice location right outside the city center. This apartment building is used by a lot of visitors, many are young people who are here to party. So throughout the month there were definitely a few loud groups here and there. Fortunately the noise doesn't make it to the bedrooms, but as someone who's sensitive to loud neighbors there were nights I couldn't really enjoy the living room/kitchen area. Everything else was 5 stars.

Perfect location, gracious hosts

We spent a few night in Cusco as our home base when hiking the Inca Trail, and stayed in this lovely apartment. The hosts were wonderful-assisted us with transportation, provided recommendations on where to eat and shop, and were available for any questions we had. The apartment itself was perfect for our family. We all loved the balcony! Location was great and you can walk to Plaza de Armas, tons of nice restaurants, and market is right around the corner. Highly recommend!

Terrific, clean, light-filled apt with very helpful hosts!

We really enjoyed our 3 weeks at La Yapa Apt. La Yapa means something like “a little extra” in Quechua (like when you get a little extra bonus when you buy something) and it really was just that! The plant-lined balcony is beautiful with an amazing view of the city and mountains, the decor is lovely, and the helpful & friendly hosts even left some treats to start off our stay. The kitchen had what we needed to make meals at home and the San Blas Market is just around the corner (if you want to buy some great little lunches!). This location is also perfect - walkable to the Monkey and Moon temples or Plaza de Armas but not right in the crowded tourist area. Great place and great hosts - highly recommended!

We are an English/Peruvian couple, I (Dan) am originally from Somerset and have lived in Peru the last 5 and a half years after falling in love with Cusco and the incredible beauty of the city. I run Cusco Therapeutic Massage as well as work at Peru Fitness Holidays tourist agency. My girlfriend (Kat) is from Cusco and is a historian at the local university.

We enjoy exploring the incredible trails that are in the Cusco region and enjoying all the amazing foods (ceviche at least twice a week!). In addition, we often are helping Kat's family who live just outside Cusco, with their animals and crops!

We are both easy going and enjoy exploring new places and trying new foods. I (Dan) enjoy running whilst Kat likes to meet me at the finish for a victory beer or glass of wine!

We like to think that we are good hosts and are very proud of our apartment and think that it is the perfect option for couples and families who visit Cusco.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because it was in the perfect location, close to the centre but away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist industry. After living for two years in a normal Cusco type apartment, where we had to wear hats and gloves inside, we fell in love with our apartment, which gets sun in the bedrooms in the morning and sun in the living room in the afternoon, meaning that it is a lot warmer than most apartments. All in all we think it is the perfect apartment.
