Newly renovated traditional town house situated just 10 minutes walk from the port of Hydra and close to the Four Corners Grocery store. The house offers simplicity, tranquillity and all modern conveniences. It has traditional high ceilings and thick walls, is air conditioned and also features ceiling electric fans.It has two bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 people (two people can sleep in the upstairs living room area). The house offers two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The terrace outside offers privacy and is ideal for relaxing or enjoying its ambience with friends. From the upstairs terrace you can watch the sun setting.

This place is absolutely lovely. We were speechless when we walked in and it kept getting better! Everything was clean and tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could need. We did not meet the host, but she was available to chat with if we needed anything and was very accommodating.

Beautiful house on a very romantic island

The house is very lovely. Everything works (kitchen, washing machine, showers etc.) and is in good condition, next to the house (15m) is a mini-mart which has everything needed for every day life. The owner is friendly and welcoming, we very much enjoyed our week there.

Great host and perfect little house

Eleonora was very attentive and helpful. The house is very comfortable and has everything you'd need. And there is a lot of air conditioning for when it's very hot! The steps up could be a challenge for those not used to the island or not in great shape.

My first visit to Hydra was in 1989 and it was love at first sight!
A truly magical place, a travel back in time! A unique island that has kept its identity over the years offering the perfect spot for an unforgetable holiday whether one is looking for relaxation or night life or both!

Why they chose this property

In Hydra, location is the key word! As there are no cars or buses, all distances are covered on foot!
The house is situated just 10 mins walk from the main port where all island life happens; the steps are few by island standards and it is not a steep ride. Also, in just 10 mins you can be in the fishing port of Kamini where there are tavernas and a beach. Furthermore, there are is a grocery stores about 100 meters from the house so you do not have to carrry groceries in the heat for long.

What makes this property unique

The house is very well kept, in perfect condition and is perfect for two couples or a family because of the way it is designed. The kitchen and the bathrooms are renovated (February 2022) and the house will be be freshly painted!
