About this property

This is a newly renovated home to be used as our guest house for family and friends. This home is in the Westmoreland Heights subdivision in Batesville, just 2 blocks off Highway 6. The house is adjacent to our family home and sits atop a hill overlooking the 16th and 18th fairways of the Panola Country Club golf course. It features an open floor plan with a modern central kitchen with all new upscale appliances. We also have a basketball court for a little outdoor activity.

For SEC sports fans, we provide the "calm before the storm" being 25 minutes from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, The Pavilion and Swayze Field. For peaceful and mindful visits, our guests are 5 minutes from Magnolia Grove Monastery. Plenty of food and shopping available in Batesville and 25 minutes from the Oxford Square. For hunting and fishing enthusiasts, we are 5 minutes from Sardis Lake and 10 from Enid Lake and surrounded by some of the best hunting land in Mississippi. If you are gambler, we are 45 minutes from the Tunica casinos, with new Sportsbook available.

We do require 72 hours in between bookings.

The Perfect Property

Huge property with plenty of room and very clean. Extremely well taken care of. Owners went above and beyond my expectations with the amenities. The house is very well stocked. There were games, movies, sport equipment. This is the best property I have ever stayed at. Look no further this is the one. I am already planning my next stay.

Fantastic yet again!!!

Rose Mary is wonderful. We have stayed previously and will keep coming back! The house is wonderful - clean always and well stocked!!!! Rose Mary is always available if needed. Love the neighborhood and the area. We will be back again and again!

Beautiful home away from home

We always enjoy our time at ParsleySage guest house. Tom and Rosemary are wonderful hosts. The house is always spotless and every need you can imagine is met. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

We moved to Batesville in 1986 from Oxford, where we lived for 8 years. Tom is an attorney here and we both fell in love with Batesville, thus we have been here ever since. We raised 2 children on our 3 1/2 acre lot enjoying sculpting walking paths and many sitting areas through the wooded property. The golf course that joins the property allowed many hours of fun with family golf challenges, plus morning runs and walks along the cart paths. It has become our own little quiet family park. When our children , family and friends come to visit there are always plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained!

Why they chose this property

When our neighbors, who built this home, moved into a retirement facility, we decided to buy this adjacent property. It seemed like the perfect way to extend our little slice of heaven for our family and friends, giving them privacy when visiting . We have named this property Parsley Sage Guest House in honor of our children and a very old song! We hope that many wonderful memories will be made in this special home by our family , friends and all our guests.

What makes this property unique

Sitting on the deck listening to the birds and watching the sun come up through the trees each morning with a cup of coffee is very peaceful. A morning game of golf then in 30 minutes we can be in Oxford watching the Rebels play. If we want great food and keep our calm we can find many good restaurants here from great steaks to award winning pizza in Sardis. We feel you will find our home and Batesville both fun and relaxing.
