Nice place to stay.

Everything was ok, clean and well-maintained, nothing much to say ... a little exception with the door , not always easy to manage with the horizontal blind.

Perfect Little Cottage

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was the perfect get away spot! As mentioned that place is very cozy and we loved the simple decorations that made the cottage feel like a home away from home. Everything has its place in the cottage and it was really clean! I would take another vacation here in a heartbeat.

The wonderful patio with the full grill was the perfect place to enjoy cocktails with friends and grill.

We brought our bikes with us to take rides into town, which was a great idea because the traffic in town can get pretty bad. The fence around the property provided enough privacy that we didn't feel like we needed to lock our bikes.

It is obvious that the home owners take care of this property and want it to feel like your own little place to get away in Maine.

We had a wonderful time. The cottage was small like the description said but very cozy. Everything we needed was there and the cottage was in a good location off the main road. It was an easy short walk into town. The individual who helped us get settled was very helpful and nice. The garden area was great and having the grill was wonderful. The neighbors were friendly. We highly recommend a stay here.

Very Welcoming

  • 4 of 5

We arrived to a lovely "fruit basket" filled with Maine blueberry jam and muffins and all sorts of good stuff.

The cottage was very clean and now has a nice white privacy fence enclosing a beautiful patio. It is small as described.

Although it is close to the main road it's set back makes it private and quiet. And the Egg and I for breakfast is an easy walk.

There is parking for one car which was fine for us.

We were interested because it was described as pet friendly. However, the surrounding neighbors are definitely not pet friendly to the point of confrontation - even if you pick up and it is on city easement property which made our stay uncomfortable.

But - that wasn't the property owner's fault.

Everything else was wonderful - the trollies are just a short walk away which made it fun.

We would stay again but not with pets.
