FYI...Your safety is very important to us!! We THOROUGHLY clean and disinfect between each stay. We also have plenty of disinfectant spray at the house for your use during your stay with us.

Our lovely little place nestled in the woods is the perfect little space, remodeled with everything you need!! Situated on Oneida Lake, it has water access in the summer for water sports, or in the winter for ice fishing. There are also snowmobile trails that run right behind the property (but not so close you can hear them). There is a new concrete patio and brick fire pit for outdoor relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunsets on the lake.

Bernhards Bay Manor Barn

The Bernhards Bay Manor Barn was very comfortable. The addition of the Manor House provided us the room we needed for our large extended family. The barn and grounds were clean and well-maintained. Our host was friendly and very gracious. We will stay at the Manor Barn again next time we're in the Oneida Lake area.

Confusion

There are four buildings on this property, apparently with the same street address . I had rented it for my nephew and his family who were visiting the US from Italy. The listing did make it clear which building was being rented. I arrived about 15 minutes prior to my guest. I followed the driveway to the fist building which looked like a house. The building next to seemed to be a storage building. Naturally I thought the other two buildings were also storage buildings. I notice the back door to the house was unlocked and the lock didn’t work. I sent an email to the owner. In the meantime my guests arrived. They put their luggage in but we were all wondering what to do about the lock. Then I noticed a car pulled in. I thought it was the owner. He said he was not. He was the tenant of one of those building. He called the owner to inform her about the lock issue. It was then that we realized we were at the wrong house. The gentleman tenant pointed us to the other building up the hill and said we needed to move there and added the “big house” was much more expensive ! As you can imagine that was a bit embarrassing in front of my guest. I had my guests move their stuff to the other house. It was fine. I detected a little smoke odor which was bearable. I told the owner about it. It was probably from the wood burner in the house. The owner denied that. I did not want to argue with her. I just said it was alright. Please specify the location of the house in the listing.

Family weekend

This was a great place to spend a long weekend. Cabin was clean and roomy, beds were comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake across the street. I did not go to the water because there were geese and birds (and their mess)on the dock . The only down side was that the gas grill had not been cleaned from prior uses.

Great relaxing retreat

We spent a week here and enjoyed to peace and quiet . We used to BBQ for most dinners but did check out a few local restaurants. Things that need updating or cleaned though are the grill and the screen door leading to the BBQ area.
