Our first visit could not have been better - terrific house in a great location, convenient to everything. We enjoyed the location, lovely gardens, peaceful setting and being able to sleep until we woke up naturally without an alarm.
Everything was in very very good condition and there was lots of space. WiFi worked seamlessly, although my husband found it hard to work with birds singing and just the ambiance - but he managed. Great home office - if you really really do still need to stay connected. We were so happy with all that the owner provided and we have NEVER had that before in any vacation rental. This house is lovingly cared for and it shows.
Immaculate and just about everything is new or almost new.
I would highly recommend this to anyone.
On the Vineyard for a friends wedding so rented this house with 8 of our friends (all 30ish) and had a great stay! We really enjoyed BBQ'ing and cocktails on the back porch. House also has two stereos with mini-connectors to hook up our Ipod's and Ipad's since we are all music nuts.
House is fairly secluded on a dirt road but close enough to everything. You will have neighbors but we never saw any of them. You could definitely bike into town easily enough - especially with the bikes included - but we mostly drove into town (about 5 mins), Chilton (20 mins), and South Beach (15 mins). Everything you need for the beach is also included.
House itself is very Northeast looking and feeling - the pictures on this site are a good representation. Katherine was very easy to deal with, prompt, and professional. We chose to have linens delivered which worked flawlessly.
All in all a great stay!
My daughters/friends and I spent a week here in July and had a great time.
The house is very spacious, clean and comfortable. Lots of extra's, bikes, beach chairs etc/ books/ every kitchen item you could want as well as a great deck and grill. It was great because it is also near the bike path and bus stop so the kids could do some things on their own.
Love the beaches, just a few miles away and the freedom of parking 15 steps from the water for free.
Near Morning Glory farm which was nice in the mornings for muffins etc and nice for fresh vegetables and baked goods.
The house is peaceful and secluded which allowed us to sleep in every morning and allowed us some much needed relaxation.
Had a wonderful stay at this very comfortable, well maintained home surrounded by mature woodlands.
Clean, spacious, lovely rooms .. in a tranquil setting. Nice outdoor deck and barbecue area.
Short walk -- or bike ride (1 mile) to Morning Glory Farm for coffee and fresh baked muffins in the morning.
About 2 miles to Edgartown center. Great location.
We had a terrific time in Martha’s Vineyard and really enjoyed all of the amenities at this Edgartown Meadows house. The house is in a great location - close to Edgartown, South Beach, Morning Glory Farms and the bike path. The house was very well appointed and had nearly everything we needed for our stay. There was all the electronic equipment you could ever need, wireless internet access, movies, books, and games to keep our two boys occupied. The house was very clean, comfortable and had enough space to keep grandparents, parents and kids happy. Even though the location is convenient to most everything on the island, the house is in a very private setting and had a terrific backyard for grilling and outdoor dining.
We can't say enough about how great this house was for our family. There were 6 of us (4 children) and everyone had plenty of private space, there were lots of games, movies and toys for the kids to use and the location was very very convenient. We walked into town a couple of times - took about 20 minutes on the bike path. We drove to State Beach and South Beach in 5 minutes and all the beach stuff was there along with a really cool grill and kites, umbrellas, etc. etc. - we didn't even need to bring the beach towels - 12 were provided. The house was immaculate - the bathrooms brand new and we had everything we could possibly need in terms of dishes, utensils, etc. We have rented lots of houses on MV but this was by far the very best. We are going back next year. You will love this house.
We don't usually rent houses without knowing the owners and so we were a bit concerned whether or not the house would live up to its advertisement. We were so surprised. Everything is beautiful in this house! Bathrooms are brand new and tiled. The dishes, cookware, appliances are all new. The washer/dryer are new. The bedrooms are huge and each one had a very big closet, extra pillows and blankets and ceiling fans. Large windows and it is very private - we never heard anything but birds. The kitchen was compact and included everything. There was even coffee, tea, lemonade, spices, etc. etc. Lots of the usual stuff that you would need for eating on the deck - including melamine for the kids. There were two kinds of BBQ grills and a beach grill that was really easy to use. The outdoor shower was a nice treat for our kids and the yard was safe, quiet and secluded. We would definitely go back to this house again and have already booked next year. We were so close to the bus stop, the bike paths that we probably could have left the car behind and saved a bit of money. We loved being able to walk to Morning Glory Farm - the absolutely best farm stand and produce market on the island - we did not realize that people drive from all over the island for their baked goods, cheese, fruits and vegetables. I would not hesitate to recommend this house to a family or even two couples who want a really nice place to stay in a quiet area but only a 5 minute drive to Edgartown or the beaches.
Private, wooded 1 acre lot on dead-end road convenient to bike path, bus stop, Edgartown. Quiet and safe location for children. Large yard with hammock, large deck and peaceful setting. A haven from the hassles of everyday life!
