Home away from home in excellent location

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this house during the fourth week of August. This house is in an excellent location, a short walk to the Inkwell beach and a 10-15 minute walk to Circuit Ave and all of the restaurants and entertainment in Oak Bluffs. The house is updated, clean, comfortable and spacious. We ended up having 8 in our party. It can sleep 13 if every room and bed are filled, and if there are two in every double bed. I anticipate that might feel a bit crowded with 2 bathrooms.

The wrap around porch is the perfect place to relax, chat with family and friends and wave to the neighbors. It is quite spacious and we spent a lot of time there. Although the house is very convenient to town, it is on a quiet block with a very friendly neighborhood feel. You can choose to never use your car, or hop in the car to head to Edgartown, South Beach, State beach or any number of places. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Our family had an excellent stay. The outdoor shower was a definite favorite. And the front porch. I love being 2 blocks from the beach and a couple more to town. We visited all our favorite places -- Aquinnah beach, Illumination Night and the Ag Fair.

Wonderful girls weekend away!

  • 5 of 5

This house was a dream for a girls weekend away! The house itself was beautiful with its large wrap around porch that we enjoyed all weekend. The bedrooms were sunny and large and the communal area was great for hanging out and relaxing. The best part of this house is that it is a 2 minute walk from the beach and a 5 minute walk to town. You can actually see the ocean from the porch and it is the perfect place to have morning coffee. We can't wait to come back again soon!

Lovely home close to it all!

  • 5 of 5

This was my groups second time staying here. We just love the charm of this house. Not only that, the place is impeccably clean upon arrival, the kitchen is very well equipped. We grilled in the backyard without a problem. We didn't use the washer/dryer until the end when we had to clean a few items, but it's brand new and easy to use if needed. The extra refrigerator has always been helpful when you have 12 adults in one house!

The porch is amazing with it's rockers and tables. We even enjoyed it during a bit of rain. Something so relaxing about a cup of coffee and a rocker!

The house is so close to downtown Oak Bluffs, which offered our large group the flexibility to split up and walk back and forth to the house as people needed. A car is not necessary as the bus drops off at the end of the road, and there is a small grocery store walkable to the house.

We went in early spring so a bit cold for the beach, but for those that go in warmer weather, there is a beach at the end of the road that you can see from the house! perfect.

Also- Nina was extremely accommodating and responsive before our arrival. We had zero issues during our trip, so we did not need to reach out for anything!

We will be coming back!
