We had a nice quick little get away and this condo was perfect! Small cozy size, and beautiful updated furnishings. We will rent again!

The condo was perfect. The bed was very comfy. Enough room for two. Carrie was super quick and responsive when I had questions during our stay. Across the street from the beach and close to food and shops! We loved our stay!

I am giving 5 stars because it wasn't THAT bad and communication was awesome. The issues we had weren't really the fault of the owner, but the building/other renters. Upon arrival, the parking area is VERY tight, I have a very small car so I didn't have the issue others might, should you have an SUV or Truck. There were people smoking, sitting on the stairs up to the unit and they acted like we were a disruption to them to have to get up and move so we could walk up the stairs (note there is an elevator, but it is at the other end of the property and I like to take the stairs every where I go anyway). The door is a touch pad door and had no issues with it. As soon as I opened the door to the unit I was overwhelmed with the over abundance of air 'fresheners' I immediately unplugged the 2 I could find (the scent is not a good scent, and if you are like me, any scent messes with my allergies, but for the price of the unit for the 3 nights, I thankfully brought allergy medication to take and didn't have an issue). The unit was fairly clean except a sizable pile of sand behind the bathroom door. Everything in the unit seemed to be brand new. This became VERY apparent when we showered. The towels appeared to be so new, they hadn't been washed. When using the wash cloths they were dripping with blue and green dye into the tub, not just a little, A LOT! I'm sure the next person will not have this issue. The door to the unit doesn't seal all the way when closed, which between 1130 at night and 3am when all the drunks return from the bars, you can hear them screaming in the hallway very easily and keeps you awake. There is a 'quiet time' policy in place, clearly other guests of the building do not follow, we were awaken every night and kept awake for hours - by people yelling belligerently in the hallway.

Now, with that all said, I will say Carrie was an AWESOME host! When I asked for recommendations of things to do/places to go/places to eat she sent me a HUGE list of her favorites. We hoped to check most of them out, but ran out of time. We will have to return to Gulf shores to visit the others someday! I saw other reviews on this building about rentals smelling like smoke, this unit did not smell like smoke at all, despite the smokers being on the stairwell at the entrance to that side of the building. I would rent this unit again, as it was in the center of many restaurants and places to visit. Deposit was refunded within 24 hours of check out

We absolutely loved our stay there! Beach access was easy and the condo was located within walking distance of almost everything you needed. We had some trouble with the key code upon arrival but the owner answered the first call and quickly gave us another code. The condo is somewhat small and wouldn't recommend it for more than two people. However for a couple or with a small child, its perfect! The room was super clean and had everything we needed. The bed was the softest bed I have ever slept on!!! We plan to stay again.
