Located 20 km from Roanne and 50 kms of Vichy, Saint Rirand is at the heart of the Monts de la Madeleine.
In a quiet and pleasant environment, at 600 meters altitude, the hamlet is surrounded by woods and meadows. The river "Task", which feeds the dam of the same name, flows down the village.

Les pont fort: Super spacieux, très calme au cœur de la campagne, jeux pour enfants et bébés, chaise haute, baignoire bébés,lit pour bébé, livres enfants et adultes Les choses qu'il manque: ne fournit pas les serviettes, pas de réserve de papier toilette, sopalin, pas de tablettes de lave vaisselle, pas de produits ménagés (produits à vitres désinfectant...), et un petit manque d'explications pour les pris du frigo, de la machine à café du micro-ondes
