Empty nester couple that loves to travel and when we do we try to find VRBO's to stay in. We love eating at "local" diners, exploring museums, and zig zagging on our travels. This allows us to see lots of places and gives us a sense of the local people, their lives and their stories. We've met some very nice people where we've stayed and as a host, hopefully we can offer you a nice, comfortable place to stay on your travels.

Comfortable and Quiet
Wow, what a wonderful place to stay! I was there for a week and I loved it. I had the whole basement to myself and it was perfect: comfortable, well-equipped, quiet. Jim and Kim are gracious hosts. I highly recommend this place.
A nice place to stay. Good neighborhood. Will definitely consider staying there again when heading to the KC area.
Great Place to Stay
This property is great. It's clean and very comfortable. It's stocked better than any property I've ever stayed at. Great location as well. I would definitely recommend.
Roomy and nice
The owners are very nice people. It is a very nice location. They made my stay very enjoyable. Your space is very roomy and I had a nice sleep.
Gracious hosts with a lovely home!
It felt like home but with all the niceties a guest could want. Super clean, attractive, large and quiet.
Thanks Ann. Hope you enjoyed your stay and your time with friends. Come back any time. Jim
Quiet and comfortable
Jim's property was perfect for our needs. Even though we arrived quite late, he graciously welcomed us and made sure we had everything we might need. The added touches of coffee and breakfast options were appreciated! CV
Corri, glad you have a good stay. Come back and see us soon. Jim
There are many places to see. One of the top ones would be the World War 1 Museum. Even if you aren't a history buff, this is one of the finest in all the country and will no doubt leave you with a sense of the magnitude of this event. Another great place is the Steamboat Arabia Museum. This exhibit was unearthed north of Kansas City where the Missouri River used to channel. They've done a fantastic job of preserving the cargo and telling the story of the early years of shipping by boat. If you're into the arts, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Arts and the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts are a must see. Tours are available for the KCPA, but schedule ahead of time. Tours are available for the Boulevard Brewing Company. You have to show up in person to reserve a tour. If you're in to pro sports, the venues of Arrowhead and Kauffman stadiums are wonderful. Many other activities, such as Science City at Union Station, the Country Club Plaza, the Kansas City Zoo, various casinos, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, etc. are all within 30-45 minutes.
