Immersed in the green countryside of Florence, Villa Berni is located by the Certosa highway exit, 5 minutes away, in a strategic position to visit the wonderful hills of Tuscany!

This 17th century Florentine villa has been lovingly and elegantly restored at the beginning of 2007 with traditional taste and contemporary comfort.

The four fireplaces, terracotta floors and antique furnishings compliment the history of the villa, while the luxurious linens, modern bathrooms and air conditioning create a relaxing elegance in this tranquil country setting. Amenities also include WIFI Adsl internet, satellite TV, and his private historic Florentine garden with ITS PRIVATE POOL.

With (6) bedrooms and (5) bathrooms, the 280 sqM Villa Berni can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people.

On the ground floor there is a well equipped Kitchen, a big living room, a big dining room, a laundry, a double bedroom, a library room and two bathrooms. On the first floor there are four bedrooms with two bathrooms and on the second floor there is the tower of the villa with a bedroom and its private bathroom. From the two windows of the tower bedroom you have an amazing view of the Florence and of the Tuscany countryside!

The Berni family, that lives near the property can help you with everything from planning your day trips and restaurant suggestions.
Infact Villa Berni is in a strategic position to visit all the most beautiful Tuscany places. The villa is near the five Tuscany Unesco heritage sites:
1.Towers of Sangiminiano (30 minutes away from the property by car);
2.Historic centre of Siena (40 minutes away from the property by car);
3.Piazza del Duomo of Pisa (50 minutes away from the property by car);
4.Historic centre of Florence (10-15 minutes away from the property by
car);
5. Historic centre of Lucca (50 minutes away form the property by car).
It's very easy to reach the historic city centre of Florence from our property: infact the nearest bus stop is 2Kms away for the property. In front of the bus stop there is a big FREE parking, where you can park the car and catch the bus for the historic city centre. The bus takes 10-15 minutes to reach the Duomo of Florence.

2. FRESH VEGETABLES FROM OUR VEGETABLE GARDEN.
STARTING FROM 2013 WE HAVE A WONDERFULL VEGETABLE GARDEN ONLY 300 METRES FROM THE PROPERTY: OUR GUEST CAN TASTE OUR FRESH VEGETABLES DIRECTLY FROM OUR GARDEN!!

Beautiful place in the hills of Florence

The villa was lovely including the gardens around it. The game room was a hit with my grandchildren, and the pool was refreshing and clean after a hot day sightseeing. We also loved watching the turtles wander around the courtyard. You definitely need to have a car or hire Marco to drive you around. The only restaurant within walking distance was closed for the August holiday, so walking into town was very challenging on the way back. It would have helped if there were directions for the washer/dryer and the dishwasher. A handy guide printed above in English or other languages would have been helpful. Also, the mosquitoes are vicious around sunset. Mosquito coils were found in the closet, but be prepared. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, and I think it would be much better to visit when it wasn't in the 90's Marco was wonderful and arrived to pick us up at each location within a few minutes of calling. Great service!

Wonderful Villa in the Heart of Tuscany

This villa worked out perfectly for our family of 8! The villa was very clean and the scenery was fantastic. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the taxi service as well - Marco made our vacation that much more enjoyable as our driver.

Renaissance Heaven at Villa Berni

This is a very unique property with rich history and great beauty. It is close to Florence and we hired Marco to drive us around for the week. All of the brothers communicate well and are her responsive. Marco is excellent. We are from USA so the italian roads are intimidating for us and this was one less thing to worry about. We spend about three days in Florence, one is Siena and one in SanGi something. Also went to Lucca. If I go back I would repeat it all but maybe skip Lucca for another day in Florence.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time. We were a family of 10. The house was more than large enough. Enrique was super accommodating. He called many cabs, suggesting restaurants and even took two of us to get some pizza in town to bring back. You definitely need a car. Warning- the roads are narrow steep and drop off one side. But how else could you get a view! You have to have Mina vookmgor you one night. It was one of the best meals we had. She even cooked for our gluten free person. Thank you for a great vacation week!
