Remarkable vintage charm first tier home in the historic and desirable Tavern Bay neighborhood, surrounded by multi million dollar homes. A short 15 min drive to the nearby public beach Lake Gregory Recreation area, for amazing lake activities and rentals. This 1300 sq ft single story pet friendly 1950's cabin is Located on a private quiet lane with ample parking. 3 bed 2 bath single level home is ideal for a family of 6, with 180 degree view of lake and over 360 5 star reviews.!!! The picture of the Lake was actually taken from my deck. It is not a postcard! This view can be seen from 2 of the bedrooms and the living room.

Lake Arrowhead is a little-hidden gem, with a quaint village, local ski resorts, movie theater and wonderful local restaurants. If you are looking to relieve stress and just relax and have fun, this is just the place. The cabin has an extremely warm and inviting feel to it. Lake Arrowhead celebrates all four seasons. .
The famous Lake Arrowhead Village offers many beautiful stores and restaurants as well as 'The Arrowhead Queen' boat ride around the lake and a world famous Water Ski School. The village has outdoor concerts during the summer months as well as Octoberfest in the winter.

The cabin is well stocked with games and books. The house is located on a private lane away from car traffic and ideal for families with little ones. This is not a 'frat party' home, looking for mature renters with a respect for our home and environment.

Lovely property!

What a beautiful home with an amazing view of Lake Arrowhead from every corner of the property! Waking up to this view in the morning was worth the trip alone. The neighborhood is serene and the home itself couldn't have been cozier. The host generously provided some essential pet supplies and a thoughtful s'more kit for the great firepit on the balcony overlooking the water. We had plenty of room in the kitchen for meal preparation. The town is beautiful as well. We will definitely be bookmarking this property for future visits. Hidden Gem

Terrific cabin with an unreal lake view! Marilyn is a wonderful host, definitely recommend this place and will return. Loved the high-quality goose down duvets! The surrounding neighborhood is peaceful and lovely.

I am very active and love hiking the trails, dirt biking and quading (4 wheelers) with my son. I go to Lake Arrowhead every chance I get, to unwind, relieve stress and center myself. I am a warm and caring women and the cabin is a reflection of that. I spend my free time volunteering in third world countries, building schools, working with orphans and disaster relief.

Why they chose this property

About 40 years ago I rented this cabin for winter break with some friends and family. We all fell in love with the peace and tranquility of the Mountains, the magnificent location and coziness of the cabin. I became a frequent renter and eventually purchased it from the owners. For me, it has always been a magical place, and I love it as much as the first time I rented.

What makes this property unique

As I travel up the mountain from L.A., only a 90 minute drive, I can physically feel the layers of stress peel off. By the time I get there I am already in a renewed and relaxed state. Most noticeable is the lack of traffic and noise, just the quiet sounds of nature.
I love the four seasons, each for their own unique character. I originally thought this was a winter resort, but actually it is popular all seasons, and especially summer. I am located on a private lane, away from the highways, surrounded by trees and the most spectacular lake views. You can usually find me on the deck staring aimlessly at the lake and listening to the birds and the wind blowing in the trees. I am a dog lover, and my dogs love Lake Arrowhead, where they can run on the trails and explore. The close proximity to Los Angeles is a plus, because whenever I need to escape I just get in the car and make the short drive.
