Beautiful cottage in the Pyrenees. Inside covered with wood lovely fir .Living with fireplace and sofas, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower. Large terrace with tables, chairs, 2 deck chairs. Ideal for children who can play in the mountains. On the ski resort the winter and starting hiking the summer. Near Thalasso, golf, water sports, rafting, paragliding, fishing, Luchon, very nice little town 15 Km., Spain about 25 km.

Beautiful setting for our Christmas holiday, but our rental unit was infested with flies

The setting was beautiful (Peyragude near Loudenvielle in the French Pyrenees) but unfortunately the condo was completely infested with hundreds of flies, every day I'd vacuum them from the walls, ceilings, beds, bathrooms, etc. and every day more would hatch (clearly nests are permeating the space). Pointed it out to the property manager but they made no attempts to do anything about it for our entire week-long stay. Also, they said bed linens and towels were included in the rental, however upon arrival there were no bed linens and towels, in order to get them we had to pay extra. What is it with these French rentals? The expectation that we are traveling with our own bed linens and towels? How completely ridiculous. VRBO you need to look into this owner and property, we were so looking forward to a magical holiday get-away, unfortunately it was a disgusting experience.

Petit chalet très bien équipé, confortable et calme, avec une terrasse offrant une merveilleuse vue sur la montagne sans vis à vis, et sur l'altiport et son ballet aérien sur la gauche. Altiport à voir avec sa configuration atypique (piste de décollage/atterrissage en forte pente). Accueil chaleureux par personne réactive, arrangeante et disponible. Propreté irréprochable et nombreuses petites attentions (présence de gel nettoyant sur le lavabo de la SDB, de 2 mini dentifrices, papier toilette sur l'enrouleur, produit de vaisselle et produits nettoyants à disposition, éponge neuve sur l'évier, quelques pastilles de lave-vaisselle, 1 torchon, épices de base). Plus qu'à poser ses valises et profiter du séjour avec beaucoup d'activités possibles aux alentours. Autre point positif, animaux admis ce qui est bien rare dans ce secteur géographique. Nous étions 2 adultes et un grand chien qui a de suite trouvé sa place sans nous gêner pour autant. La terrasse est très bien orientée, nous n'avons pas souffert des grosses chaleurs durant notre séjour, et pris nos repas avec le plaisir de la vue et du calme sans être écrasés par la chaleur (terrasse orientée à l'est, en partie couverte par le balcon du logement du dessus). Accès au logement par un escalier extérieur (dont les marches s'effritent, une petite réfection serait bienvenue pour ne pas glisser) ou par une pente douce munie de 2 marches et passant sous une passerelle (basse, attention la tête !)

Nous avons passés un séjour de 4 jours et cela c’est très bien passé. Nous avons visité les petits villages qui sont très beaux. Le charme de la campagne était au rdv et les gens très chaleureux. Nous avons fait des activités avec les enfants telles que une randonnée , vtt , balneo thermale. En bref, je recommande et je reviendrais.

Site montagnard,frontière espagnole a une demi heure

Hyper bien accueillis par Géraldine,très avenante et aux petits soins avec nous.Station tranquille idéale pour se ressourcer.Frontiere espagnole et Val d Aran proches.
