Perfect as always

This was our fourth stay at Beckoning House, and we always enjoy our stay. Everything you need is at the house, and the location is perfect for our Thanksgiving holiday. We look forward to coming back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental home was amazing! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed (and then some), and the porch was where we spent the most time. There was a table to dine on and we used the smaller table on the porch for puzzles and games (that were both in the house for guests). Internet was slow at times but that was to be expected due to the location. There was a bit of a drive to restaurants and the actual gulf but it was fine for us. We spent most of our time at the house and the beach. The beach and shelter/shade was the best aspect of the house. We were the only ones on the beach and it was Memorial Day weekend. I'm looking forward to coming back. The only slightly negative aspect was the driveway. It is very hidden and has a small blue and white sign that says "Gulf 2 beach rentals". If it wasn't for that, we wouldn't have seen the driveway. It's also only paved a few feet then turns into a dirt/gravel road that looks like you're going to nowhere until you see the home. The only suggestion would be maybe put a better marked sign and fill in one spot in the drive with dirt or gravel because it seemed to washed away and can bottom out your car if you're not careful.

Great screened in porch

We loved spending time on the screened in porch but also down at the private beach. The house had everything we needed, was the perfect size for our group of five which included 3 adults and two children, and the location and grounds were beautiful. We did have one day where we had no ac but that was fixed the next day. And we did not try to use the wagon to take things to the beach as the axle seemed to be rusted. We just carried things down and back. We would definitely come back here!
