Villa Paolina, stunning villa with pool in private parkland near Florence, Tusca

Villa Paolina is a privately owned luxury villa located in the lovely San Donato in Collina hamlet, in the outskirts of Florence (approx 15 km). It sleeps up to 6 people Wi-fi connection is free for our guests. This elegant Tuscan country house sits in a truly spectacular position with beautiful uninterrupted panoramic views over the Tuscan countryside. The villa is surrounded by 10 hectares of olive groves and landscaped gardens with flowering shrubs and lemon trees. This private, peaceful location offers the most romantic and secluded setting in the heart of Tuscany, yet only 15 km away, and we are the perfect base to visit Siena italian life style. Not to mention the lovely contry villages and wine farms scattered all around the country side!
The villa is arranged over two floors.
- A bright formal dining room with a second fire place. The rooms are beautifully furnished and have a large glass doors that connect to the garden and the enchanting views over the countryside. There is also a breakfast table, a diswasher, a washing machine, a hob, an oven, a microvawe, a fridge / freezer and an abundance of crockery and pans. The salon is equipped with satellite TV and DVD player. An elegant romantic honeymoon suite completes the ground floor. This bright double bedroom features four-poster bed, en-suite bathroom and wardrobes, as well as two large glass doors.
- On the first floor there are two more bedrooms, both ensuite and air conditioned, with a view of the pool with loungers great open views.
- All the Frette linens and towels are owned by the Villa Paolina - all linen is washed and ironed by ourselves! Villa Paolina has been expertly renovated and decorated with special attention to detail by Anna, the present lady owner and a famous Italian interior designer. She created a really stylish and welcoming abode by combining antique period pieces with neoclassic details.
- The outdoor area of the property comprises of a landscaped private garden with panoramic views and a large stone built patio. Perfect for those refreshing cocktails in summer evenings! The patio leads directly to the salt water private swimming pool with waterfall. The outdoor and pool areas are elegantly furnished with large sofas, loungers, parasols, a large dining table with chairs and a barbecue.
- The villa can be rented fully staffed if requested. Maid service, chef service for lunch / dinner, baby sitting, baby bed and high chair can all be provided upon request, as well as fridge and wine stocking service, cookery classes, wine tasting tours and lots more.
House-trained pets are usually welcome at Villa Paolina, please ask!
