Amazing View

  • 5 of 5

We loved the location of our condo. When we first arrived in the addition there was a momma moose and baby grazing in the yard. We arrived at the condo, unloaded our things, opened the sliding doors and listened to the sound of the Snake River; and what an AWESOME view of the Tetons as well!!!!!

The condo was excellent, clean and everything had a list of how to use it so you would have ALL the comforts of home! Ginger had sent us a packet of information starting with directions and location of the condo which was really helpful. There was maps of Jackson and she wanted us to be able to truly get the full effect of the town and the surroundings.

Actually, the first time I have ever used a George Foreman Grill and it was electric and on the back porch. I cooked some amazing Filet Minon steaks one night and we sat and listened to the water running and then the dear came through going to whereever they were going to bed down for the night.

Sitting the next morning at the table having some cereal and there was a momma doe staring at me out the sliding doors. A big Bull Moose came through one morning but not a slow trot so we were unable to get his picture. Leave a camera on the table so you will be able to capture the wildlife as it comes through.

There was word that 2 bears had been seen in the Aspens Additon the week we were there but we didn't see any until we got to Yellowstone. Ginger sent us an email that they had been spotted so we could be cautious. The condo is really in the back part of the addition so its very quiet.

It's a great location as we went to Teton Village one day, taking the tram up to the top, for a breathtaking view. A gentleman took off of the top where we were, he was paragliding and that was truly a sight to see. Then we went to Jackson Hole for sightseeing. It's a great little town with a lot of shops to spend money, if you are so inclined. There are some great restaurants to eat at though.

Then the next day we traveled to Yellowstone National Park. You will travel thru Teton National Park going right into Yellowstone National Park. What a sight to see, Old Faithful spouting up, and when we got over to the east side, that's where we saw all the wildlife. I truly can't say enough about staying at 3314 Snowberry in the Aspens. We will never forget this experience!!! Thanks so much for having this listing on Homeaway. That's the only way to travel and vacation!!!!!

Wonderful Condo and View!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this condo and it was decorated so nicely. The owner supplied everything from laundry detergent to kitchen storage containers. We saw deer that were 10 feet from the back deck. Eagles flew above us. One evening we heard a coyote pup learning how to howl. A raccoon visited our back deck one morning. While driving through the condo neighborhood, there was a mother moose with her calf standing by the road. This was a great experience.

Just as advertised

  • 5 of 5

This is a great condo, very clean and well appointed. The location is perfect, close to town but away from the touristy areas and traffic. Easy to book and Ginger was great to work with. We would definitely return!

The views were amazing! Great place to walk, also saw mama and a baby moose in the backyard. Wow!

Property was clean, quiet, and turnkey. Had everything we wanted. Although 12 or so miles from town - we didn't mind one bit. Cute little market down the way and great restaurants nearby. Loved the ease of the bike path, so close. My family really enjoyed staying here. Would absolutely love to stay here again!

Great location

  • 3 of 5

Conveniently located to the Grand Tetons and Teton Village. Nice view. Kitchen is well stocked. Laundry was convenient. Location near Moose-Wilson Road gives you convenient access to Grand Tetons, wildlife, and bypasses the busy town of Jackson, if you don't mind a few miles of rough, dirt road.

Condo was clean, but somewhat dated and smelled of old tobacco (slightly). We are non-smokers and noticed this odor immediately. The mattresses on the bunk beds and window unit are low density foam and not suitable for adults and/or adult sized children. Before you rent this unit, Ginger will request that you either send her a deposit check or a credit card number as a security deposit. Our family has rented on VRBO many times without this type of request, which made us somewhat uncomfortable in today's age of identity theft and credit card fraud.

Owner's Response: This is a strictly non-smoking unit and always has been. I'm sorry this guest felt they smelled some "old tobacco", but our cleaning crew are VERY good about reporting ANY smell of tobacco, and to date, we have not had that reported. Nor have any of the 32 five star ratings we have received. Likewise, no reports regarding the implication that we may be up to some sort of credit card fraud when asking for a credit card # to hold in lieu of the purchase of damage insurance, which would be an additional expense to our guests of $59. We are simply trying to save our guests the expense of the damage insurance fee, and the procedure we use (keeping a credit card # on file until the guest departs and all is in order) is precisely the same as every hotel room rented out every day anywhere in the US, or most of the rest of the world. To date, since we implemented this OPTION, not REQUIREMENT, we have never had to charge anything on any guest's credit card in 10 years. Nor would we, without first contacting the guest. This procedure is outlined clearly in the "notes" section below the rates chart on the "rates' tab of our listing. I also explained this option verbally to this guest, and I note this guest actively chose to decline the damage insurance when making her reservation, so I'm not quite sure the guest understood what a "security procedure" is when renting a property. I do know many, many of our guests have happily spent the $59 they saved on a pleasant meal during their vacation in our lovely area, and that is our intention in offering our guests that option. Fortunately, the type of guests who come to visit our lovely Grand Tetons are anything but the sort of people who would intentionally damage our property, and we treasure them. Our bunk cushions are the same as those designed for sailboats and cabin cruiser beds, and we've never before had any negative reviews of them, while many of our five star reviews have mentioned the comfort of our condo. Most of our guests realize we provide a unit that sleeps a family of four comfortably, with a well stocked kitchen, in beautiful surroundings, with a spectacular view, in a quiet, natural very convenient location , at about half the price of two hotel rooms in town with all it's traffic and congestion. And clearly from their wonderful reviews, very much enjoyed their stay with us.

Great views and felt like home

  • 5 of 5

We loved the comfy cabin feel that Ginger's condo offered. The view from the living room made the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. It was close to both Jackson and the Grand Tetons, but was a drive to Yellowstone (1.5 hrs). We can't wait to visit again.
