About this property

The cottage is about 70 sq. meters, secluded in a big olive grove , surrounded by nature, next to Alfeios river. Also next to the ancient site of Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic games and the Olympic flame.
It easily fits 4 adults or a small family; It has one large double bed, one small sofa bed that pulls out into a large twin bed(for which I provide a mattress topper), a fold up cot bed and a comfy couch . There is a mezzanine space, where the large twin bed is and where the cot bed can open, its very cozy. There is one small kitchen and a toilet. The kitchen is in one space with the living room. A wood stove for winter with two electric radiators. All amenities are provided, including linen, towels and fire wood.AC also ,WIFI and sat TV.

This is a very simple and remote rural cottage so the basic procedures need to take place such as locking all the doors and shutters when leaving the house, as well as the main gate at the entrance of the property. Fantastic Stay

This has been my favorite property to stay at outside of the US. This property is just outside Olympia and it’s in a quiet area where you will get a great nights sleep, especially if you are jet lagged. Angeliki is great with communication and her assistants were a great help. The instructions to the place are easy to follow. I’d recommend staying here and not in Olympia proper. You will feel comfortable as a couple and enjoy sitting on the deck in the morning having some coffee.

Wonderful experience!

We enjoyed staying in this little cottage. It is somewhat remote from the village but a nice place to comfortably sleep, rest, and enjoy a peaceful time.

Peaceful and comfortable cottage in great location for exploring rural Olympia.

We were made very welcome by Angeliki, who is super helpful and friendly. The cottage is very well designed so that you feel at home. It's so quiet and peaceful, the only sounds being cicadas and baby owls. It's a great location for exploring the Peloponnese, ancient Olympia is just a thirty minute walk away along the river and you can easily drive into the mountains. There are beautiful, sandy beaches just thirty minutes drive away; you can choose between deserted beach or a stretch of beach with a cafe, beach volley ball and games. The sea is warm and wavy, our children loved playing in the sea. The tavernas in the local villages serve up delicious food at very good prices. It is a very friendly area, people are helpful and kind. We will definitely be recommending Angeliki's cottage to our friends and family. If you love to spend time relaxing in the peace of the beautiful countryside, this is the place for you. We found it difficult to leave!

Excellent accommodation

We were very impressed by this small cottage! Even if it doesn't have a proper address, it was very easy to find it based on the accurate instructions received from the owner. The house is very clean, beautiful decorated and everything we needed was there. The garden is very big, good for walks and adventures for kids. There is nothing around so, it is very quiet. The owner was extremely helpful, gave us plenty of details and responded promptly to all our questions. The access to Olympia and nearby villages is easy by car. Our kids absolutely loved it so, I'm sure we'll return!

the house itself has been recently renovated and is very cosy.

You can enjoy pure nature and long walks, the true rural Greece.
Even though it is secluded it is near 3 villages where you can find everything you need, including very good tavernas with homemade food.
