Old house completely renovated located on the edge of an arm of L'Isle, limit of the Dordogne department, magnificent fish-filled river in a protected natural area.
It is a 20-minute walk from the train station and 15 minutes from the center of a charming little village and near the Saint Emilion vineyard.
The setting is very pretty. The house is located next to a small country road (classified as a hiking trail) with very little passage, on the other side of the road is an arm of the isle river.
And just opposite a large island classified as a natural area (see satellite photo).
The river offers many species of fish (fishing license required for amateurs) and you can see a multitude of wild animals (rabbits, deer, foxes, wild boars, nutria, raptors, herons etc.) In spring and summer a concert of frog songs will accompany your barbecue evenings.
Possibility to buy fresh eggs and vegetables from the neighboring farm.
A large country market takes place every Sunday in the center of the village (15/20 minutes on foot).
You are about thirty minutes by car from Saint-Emilion, Castillon la Bataille, Libourne, Coutras.
Is less than an hour: Bordeaux, Bergerac, Périgueux, Sainte-Foy la grande.
To see: the wine castles around Saint Emilion, Lussac, Lalande, Pomerol
To do: many walks or bike rides, sightseeing, swimming, canoeing, fishing, mushroom picking, horse riding near the village.
