About this property

Our Villa is in the Tuscan countryside of Sarteano. It is very private and tranquil. House has been renovated and decorated with modern comforts. Villa has a comfortable Living Room with Leather Couch, 42" Flat Screen TV, Air Conditioning, and great working WIFI. Kitchen is fully prepared for our Guests who wish to cook some meals, and includes pots, dishes, wine glasses, spices and olive oil. The Kitchen also has a dining table. The Spacious Bedroom has new comfortable Mattress, Large Armoire and Dresser. The Bathroom has been updated and has a new comfortable Shower. Private Patio has seating area and an outdoor dining table with chairs. There is also a grill for our guests. Our Guests can enjoy having some wine from this area, while watching some amazing sunsets. Property is completely fenced in and has plenty of parking right next to Villa right on the property.

Een fijne plek!

Ruime parking,gezellige tuin met eettafel en stoelen en een aparte lounge. Zeer goed uitrusting in het huis (strijkplank,strijkijzer,potten,pannen,oven,….),wasmachine/droogkast zijn ook beschikbaar.goede wifi! Zeer lieve eigenaars met een schat van een hond. Wij komen zeker terug hier logeren als we in de regio zijn.

We Lived Like The Locals

My wife and I have long dreamed of moving to Tuscany. This trip made us realize that it is a dream that can come true. We arrived three hours late but we kept in touch with Dorita, the owner/property manager by text and we met at a point nearby as the home is a bit off the beaten path, which is part of its charm. Everything was exactly as represented on VRBO. We fell in love with the bed. It was so comfortable! We mostly kept the windows open because the was almost always a nice breeze. There were a few very hot days when we decided to use the AC and it works quite well. We were presented with several pages of recommendations of restaurants, vineyards, spas, etc that our hosts prepared which we found to be very helpful. We were within 30 minutes of all of the best parts of Tuscany and we were on the go every day. The best part of the experience was meeting Dorita and her husband Vincent who we feel will be lifelong friends. We’re already planning our next visit!

Wonderful stay

This was a beautiful setting, very relaxing spot for us to regroup, midway through our trip across Europe. Great location as a base for sightseeing in Tuscany. The owners were very nice and helpful for us. Highly recommend!

Schönes und ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus mit sicherem Parkplatz

Wir haben knapp zwei Wochen in diesem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht und dabei die herrliche Ruhe und Aussicht in die Natur genossen. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen: ein bequemes Doppelbett mit guter Matratze im großzügigen Schlafzimmer, ein schönes Badezimmer und ein gemütlicher Wohn-Essbereich mit einer sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche. Auf der schönen nach Westen ausgerichteten Terrasse laden ein großer Esstisch und eine gemütliche Sitzecke zum Grillen, Essen und gemütlichen Beisammensein ein. Gartenliegen helfen beim Entspannen. Dorita ist eine sehr aufmerksame und angenehme Gastgeberin, die das Haus wunderbar einladend vorbereitet hatte. Sie hat viele gute Anregungen für Unternehmungen und Restaurantbesuche. Das Haus liegt wenige Kilometer von der Autobahnausfahrt Chiusi entfernt; dort ist auch ein großer Supermarkt (Centro commerciale Etrusco). Ganz in der Nähe ist der Badeort Chianciano Terme mit einem großen Thermalbad (Piscine Termali Theia) und in ca. 15 km Entfernung die schöne Stadt Montepulciano. Ausflüge in das wunderbare Orciatal mit weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten (Pienza, Monticchiello) und Bademöglichkeiten in warmen Quellen sind möglich. Ein Höhepunkt war für uns das Thermalbad des Hotels Posta Marcucci in Bagno Vignoni. Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns prächtig erholt. Gerne kommen wir einmal wieder.

L'accueil a été très cordial malgré notre arrivée tardive.... La maison est confortable et bien entretenue. Dorita a été attentive à notre bien-être, elle était disponible pour communiquer les informations souhaitées tout en respectant notre tranquillité. C'est une maison à recommander!

I love to travel and had visited Italy several times. I fell in love with the Tuscany Region of Italy. It has some of the most beautiful landscapes, wine and food. My husband and I decided to settle into the Sarteano, Siena area of Tuscany. We are thoroughly enjoying the Italian Culture and a more tranquil way of life. Italy has so much history, art and beautiful architecture. Each small town and city has its own history and uniqueness to see and enjoy.

Why they chose this property

This property has two Villas and is located in the Tuscan Countryside. The view from several rooms of both houses are of the Tuscan Hills. It is a very private and tranquil location. We have olive trees where we pick our own olives, several fruit trees, and a vegetable garden which has given us an abundance of vegetables. We also have a Natural Preserve in back of the property a short distance away. It is a wonderful place to go for walks and hikes.

What makes this property unique

The property is located in the beautiful countryside of Tuscany. The views of the Tuscan Hills are exquisite. The Villa is centrally located and only a ten minute drive from the A1 Autostrada, which is a main highway in Italy. It is a great location to visit several beautiful Vineyards in the area and short distances to many Tuscan Towns. It is a 15 minute drive to Montepulciano, a 20 minute drive to Pienza, 45 minute drive to Siena, 25 minutes to Cortona and 15 minute drive to Cetona. We are an hour south of Florence and an hour and a half north of Rome. The beautiful city of Assisi is about a 60 minute drive from the house.
