A beautiful winter adult roping camp in Wickenburg has one guest studio casita available. It has a queen bed, full bath, and kitchenette. Electric heat and air conditioning.
Laundry room and Wi-Fi available on site. Bring your horses to the team roping capital of the world and stay awhile. Dogs welcome also. Property backs to BLM/state land with miles of desert riding available. Pipe horse pens with automatic waterers and feed barrels.
($900/mo. if taken for minimum of 3 months)

You feed and clean. Manure is all hauled off-site.

Perfect for me

Clean, Friendly, Plan to stay at least a day hang out rope and socialize. Hosts are awesome as are all the other guests. Be ready to potluck bring your favorite dish!

Kick back and relax... or get involved.

Had a nice time. We used as more of a staging place for other activities around the area. Casita was clean and comfortable and while we were there enjoyed the amenities it provide including the friendly owners that made sure we had a pleasant experience.

About the host

My husband and I are both in our 60's and actively compete in local team ropings and rodeos. We have 3 of our horses and a blue heeler dog. We rope calves in the mornings and steers in the afternoon, plus we back up to state land for lots of desert riding opportunities. Most of the folks that stay with us are in their own living quarters horse trailers, but if you don't have one, no problem. We have this beautiful little guest casita and also a 30' travel trailer.

Why they chose this property

If you love to rope, this is the place. In addition to daily roping practice, we have a community recreation room with a pool table, satellite TV and even a bandstand (Doug loves to play guitar and sing). The front deck joins the arena, so you can sit on the deck and watch the roping practice, read a book, or just have a cold cocktail.

Please, this property is rented to those wishing to bring horses for riding and roping only as the stall rental and income from roping practice is what helps to keep our rates low. Thank you.
