Having explored many North American destinations as a pilot for a global airline, we've always dreamed of returning to Los Cabos. Recently, we began making this dream a reality. The ocean at Los Cabos has been called the breadbasket of all oceans. Nature and man have combined to make many of the activities here world class to include golf, fishing and surfing. We look forward to hosting you in this wonderful Hacienda!
Costa Azul Properties at San Jose del Cabo purchased this house in 2005
The stark contrast between the ocean and desert makes Los Cabos a vacation destination second to none!
It's great to be at home while on vacation! It's great to be on the beach while at home!

The house was absolutely perfect for our family! We were all comfortable and happy with the bedrooms, enjoyed the kitchen and large dining room. The outdoor kitchen was wonderful, as we love to barbeque and everyone could eat outside. We were grateful to have a place that was beautiful and functional. Denise met all our needs promptly and Martha & Henry were very helpful and courteous. We would highly recommend this home.

We had a wonderful time in this house. It really is like having four separate living units with a common kitchen and living area, and would be perfect for four couples vacationing together. We were close to everything (beach, grocery store) and the gated community was safe and quiet. Beautiful view of the water. Would stay here again.
We had the pleasure of staying at the gorgeous property Jan. 2- Jan. 11. The house was everything promised and more, the beautiful pictures don't do it justice. We were a party of 10, including 3 couples and four children (9, 6, 2 and a six-month-old baby). We loved that the living room and dining area were big enough for us to all hangout and relax and that the bedrooms were very private and quiet. Note that only one of the rooms is in the main house and the others are accessed from the outside, so we split up and each slept with one of our boys so they wouldn't be scared at night.
The outdoor space was perfect, we spent much of our time hanging out in the pool, hot tub and around the palapa where we enjoyed grilling and having our afternoon cocktails. As we were there in January we chose to pay extra to have the pool heated and we were glad we did.
The kitchen was very well appointed and had everything we needed. We went to La Comer (formerly MEGA) store several times for groceries and drinks and found it easy to navigate and that it had a great selection. Typically I would walk there along the beach and then take a taxi home after shopping. In the La Comer shopping area you can grab a coffee at Starbucks and I loved the green juice at the green goddess organic store a few blocks away from the shopping area.
We did not rent a car so we would walk down to the resort by the beach and grab a taxi if we were going anywhere not within walking distance. The walk to the resort and the beach was down a fairly steep road with a sidewalk that had several steps, so that was a bit tricky in the dark and with a stroller.
The ocean view was spectacular and the neighborhood was quiet and well taken care of. We found a small play area a few blocks up the hill near the tennis courts and the kids had fun playing there.
The beach down the hill was very large and not crowded while we were there, but the "fatal" to swim flags were up so we only put our feet in. We loved the Palmilla beach just a few minutes drive away that was very family friendly, our boys had a blast swimming and snorkeling there.
We have stayed in high-end resorts in the corridor and Cabo San Lucas many times but this was our first time staying in San Jose Del Cabo and we loved it and were so happy we found this little piece of paradise.
Henry and Martha, the managers, were very responsive and accomidating. We highly recommend this house and hope to make it back again soon!
We arrived Christmas Day. It was my family with three children (ages 11, 9 & 9) and my parents and brother. One of best features of this rental is that the rooms are separate and allow for privacy when desired. My children went to the beach each day and played in the waves for hours. We did not end up getting our rental car because it was too chaotic on Christmas Day. We took taxis and it worked perfectly. We'd walk to Bel Air hotel to get transportation. I walked to grocery and took taxi home. On NYE, we had the private chef cook and it was phenomenal. I'd suggest doing this at beginning because we had tons of food left over.
The pool, hot tub and outdoor area are fabulous if people would rather stay closer to home.
La Salsas is fantastic and walking distance. Sunset di Mona Lisa is one of most gorgeous restaurants I have been to.
Owner was very responsive.
Home was exceptionally clean and well stocked.
We will hopefully be back!!
House was the perfect size and layout to accommodate our large family. Beautifully decorated and comfortable beds. We cooked and grilled out almost every night. It was our first trip to Cabo and we didn't rent a car but the next time we will. Spent 5 nights and 6 days with easy access to ride the bus to various locations and grocery store but the hike back up the hill to the property can be exhausting. Renting a taxi everywhere could get very expensive. I would definitely recommend this house to any large family or multiple couples who are looking for a beautiful house with plenty of room and privacy. Just make sure you have transportation if you're wanting to leave the house and do activities.
This house was perfect for our trip to Cabo. With 4 bedrooms and 4 baths it was just what we wanted for our 4 couples. Each room had a comfortable king bed (although one room had twins pushed together, which was fine) and it's own bath. The kitchen was well equipped with every thing we needed. The neighborhood was lovely and gated, nestled on top of a hill. If you are a beach lover, which we aren't, the beach is less than a mile away. For us the location was great. There were lots of good restaurants to choose from and it was close to the golf courses. We rented a car, which we would recommend.
The owner was great and very responsive. We had a few minor problems which were addressed promptly. We would definitely stay here again.
