OVERVIEW:
This privately owned apartment is available for rent on a monthly basis (minimum stay for a short-term rental in Miami is 30 days). All renters are required by my building to complete an online application that's provided once a booking is made on AirBnb.
My prices are very reasonable, considering Miami's appeal as a popular destination and vacation spot - with many festivals and events (Film, Music, Arts, and Sports) coming to town. Typically staying at my condo is much less expensive than staying in nearby luxury hotels, while providing you with twice the living space. It's also part of 1 Hotel South Beach (a 5-star luxury resort).
NOTE (April-2021): The building just completed a renovation of all the hallways. The building is also planning to modernize the lobby, with the work starting in the second half of 2021.
1. APARTMENT:
The condo is a spacious 760 sq feet apt with one large bedroom and one full bathroom. The 8th Floor apartment is fully furnished with a modern look and has beautiful bay and city views. Since it doesn't have a balcony, the bedroom is quite large as compared to other units in the building.
2. LOCATION:
The location is ideal for South Beach. It's located directly on the beach (23rd St & Collins Ave), right where all the new hotels/restaurants are located. You can easily access all of South Beach from the apartment:
- Beach access: 1-minute walk (it is right out back)
- Lincoln Road Mall: 10-minute walk to numerous shops/restaurants/cafes
- Ocean Drive: 12-minute walk down the beach (starts on 14th St)
- Collins Ave: this street is lined with many hotels that provide lots of options for restaurants, bars, and nightlife.
3. POOLS:
The resort has 4 pools; the South pool, the Center pool, the Beach-level pool, and a Rooftop pool*. Once outside at the pool deck, you can use an access card to get towels and chairs from the pool staff, just like you would at a hotel. You can also easily walk to the beach.
* The rooftop pool is managed by the hotel for their guests during the day, but opens up after 6 PM for everyone to dine at Watr restaurant or get drinks at the bar.
4. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
There are 2 Queen beds in the main bedroom, set up similar to a hotel. In addition, the couch converts into a Queen bed and there is a Full-size air mattress. The storage drawers under the bed have plenty of extra sheets, pillows, blankets, etc. Comfortably, 4 people can sleep in the apt (with 5 people max).
5. TV/CABLE/INTERNET:
The living room has a 58-inch Smart TV with HD digital cable and a soundbar. The bedroom has a 40-inch Smart TV with HD digital cable. Both rooms have Blue-Ray-DVD players. In addition, there is high-speed fiber WiFi internet in the condo for guests to use. There is also free WiFi internet access provided by the hotel on the pool decks and common areas for everyone to use.
6. BATHROOM & SHOWER:
The bathroom has a shower and tub set-up. The cabinets are stocked with fresh & clean towels, along with (2) hairdryers and many other general vanity items you might need (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc). There's a large walk-in closet next to the bathroom where you can find beach towels, tanning lotions, an iron, and plenty of additional storage space.
7. VALET PARKING:
Valet parking is right out front (23rd St entrance) and you can call or text ahead to have your car ready. My parking spot is available for FREE to use by my renters.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
- LAUNDRY: the laundry room is directly across from the apt, making it very easy to wash clothes & towels
- KITCHEN: the kitchen has a full range of stainless steel appliances; microwave, fridge, stove, oven, and dishwasher. The cabinets are stocked with plates, cups, silverware, etc.
-COFFEE: there are Nespresso & Keurig coffee machines for you to make gourmet coffee & tea. There is also a variety of alcohol stocked.
- KEYLESS ENTRY & ACCESS CARDS: The building is run like a hotel with 24-hour security. You will be provided an access card that is required to gain entrance to the elevators & the pool decks (it's a very secure building). My apartment has a smart door, which you can open using an app on your phone.
- GYM: Anatomy Gym is located at the hotel and can be used by purchasing a monthly pass. Soul Cycle is also onsite at the hotel and It's $20 for first users for a 1-hour spinning (cycling) session.
- SPA: The luxury Bamford Haybarn Spa in the hotel offers facials, massages, haircut & salon services, etc
- GETTING AROUND: Use ride share apps (Uber, Lyft, or taxi) to get picked up in front of the building or use the bike rental station (CitiBike) to rent a bike for quick trips around town (I prefer biking, especially on the boardwalk).
