Perfect apartment in perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I just finished an amazing week in Paris while staying at this apartment! It was just the right size for the 2 of us and had everything we needed and more. We loved that the apt. opened to the courtyard with 2 windows and was very quiet. The kitchen and bathroom were very new and modern. There is a separate bedroom and the beds were amazing--all nights we slept great! We felt very secure as the apt. has a security lock to get into the building and then of course, our own apt. lock. Felt very safe walking in this neighborhood, even in the evening, and found ourselves enjoying Paris every night with plenty of places to get a quick crepe or snack. (If you are from WI in the US--there is even a Green Bay Packer bar on this street (Rue St. Jacques) called "Wide Open Sports Bar" where we met others from WI and got to sign the official Packer guestbook!)

The apartment was within walking distance to most of the attractions--Pantheon, Notre Dame, the Seine River, Luxembourg Gardens, the Louvre, etc. This was one of the main reasons we chose this apartment for our stay. We wanted to be able to walk to most places, which we did. When we decided not to walk, the metro was very close by. Many wonderful restaurants, bakeries, and gelato! "Amorino's" was the best!!

Emanuelle was very prompt and attentive to all our questions and even when our flight was delayed by 9 hrs, she was right there to let us in to the apartment. She was also very knowledgeable about the history of the area which was perfect for my daughter studying to be a history teacher! I would recommend this apt. to everyone who wants to see Paris--it is in the very heart of the city and yet offers solitude at the end of a long day of sightseeing.

Emmanuelle you are the perfect host and your wonderful apartment made our mother/daughter trip perfect!! Merci Beaucoup!!!!

Quiet and comfortable in the middle of the Latin Quarter.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this flat! It was very quiet considering how close it is to many attractions. The Latin Quarter has plenty to offer with restaurants and cafes within a minutes walk. The metro and many bus stops are also very close. This was our second stay, and we hope to return!

Perfect place for our first stay in Paris!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is in a beautiful old building. Emmanuelle couldn't have been more helpful or prompt getting back to us. She told us exactly how to get there on the train from the airport and met us at the apartment. The apartment was just as the pictures show. It was comfortable for 2 people. It was a great location, easy walk to a metro or bus. Walking distance to Notre Dame and many places of interest. The weather was mild so it was not a problem that there was no air conditioning, but that might be a concern in the summer. It was up 4 flights of stairs which was fine for us but might be a problem for a person with limited mobility.

Owner's Response: Hi Lorenzo Thank you for your great comments, that is very nice of you. Of course it is not a place to stay if you have some mobility problems that is why I mention it clearly in the description otherwise it keeps you in good shape! For us in Europe it is 3 rd floor because we don't count the lobby as a floor . I am very glad that you had a good time, take care Regards Emmanuelle

Amazing Property

  • 5 of 5

Emmanuelle has done a marvelous job rehabing this property! It is the perfect apartment for the US traveler to Paris. It is walking distance to the Metro, the Cluny, Notre Dame and many many restaurants. The apartment has many electric outlets (don't forget your converters)! The kitchen is completely set up (Long live Ikea!) The bathroom is exactly what you need! There is very little noise. We loved staying here! Thank you for Emmanuelle!

Charming, clean and conveniently located.

  • 5 of 5

This is a charming, clean and conveniently located apartment. We enjoyed staying there. Emmanuelle was very informative and responsive to my questions before our arrival and was there waiting in the apartment when we arrived. The apartment was sufficiently large enough for our needs (just two of us). The bathroom was spacious and clean, there is a clothes washer in the kitchen.

It is on the 4th floor so be prepared to walk up and down every time you come and go from the building. Some of the stairs (as you can see in the picture) are worn from age and should cause you to take care. Other than that, enjoy!
