Perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay in Emanuel's apartment. His instructions were detailed and easy to follow. The location could not be any better-easily walkable to some of the best sights in Paris without being in an overly touristy neighborhood. We will definitely be staying again!

Fantastic location!

  • 5 of 5

This is a gem of an apartment. The location is fabulous - just steps away from the metro, RER, Notre Dame and lots of fantastic restaurants. The space had everything we needed with a kitchen, large king-size bed, living room and bath. It felt like we had our own home in the city. The location is in the heart of the city but offered a surprisingly quiet sanctuary at the end of the day. The washing machine definitely came in handy during our hot stay allowing us to bring minimal items for easy travel. Opening the windows at both ends of the apartment kept the space wonderfully cool as well. There are 75 steps as mentioned in other reviews, but they didn't seem too daunting even after long days of walking. This was our first trip to Paris and I think we were extremely lucking in finding this hidden prize. Emmanuelle was quick to respond to all questions and was always very friendly. If we are lucky enough to visit Paris again, we would definitely stay here again.

Charming Parisian apartment

  • 5 of 5

Communicating with Emmanuelle was fantastic. Our flight was canceled and our ETA became 1 (one) am in the morning. Emmanuelle, without any hesitation and very gracefully, offered to receive us at that time. Fortunately, we were able to get on an earlier flight and we arrived around 7 pm. If you like old buildings and Parisian charm, this is the apartment for you. The apartment is small but comfortable, it had everything we needed. It is remodeled, has a very nice kitchen area and a new bathroom. My wife and I were very happy living in this apartment for four days. We absolutely recommend it. Meeting and talking to Emmanuelle was wonderful! Merci beaucoup, muchas gracias Emmanuelle!!

Great location, very charming

  • 5 of 5

Emmanuelle is a complete dear and answered all of our many questions leading up to our arrival. She was always professional, pleasant, and punctual!

The location is very nice and close enough to major sites plus cafes, shops, and a major metro stop. The steps to get to the apartment are definitely a challenge but we knew that going in so this is not a complaint - my wife had knee replacement a few years ago so getting up those steps at the end of the day was indeed a challenge. Don't complain afterwards though because the other reviews are quite open and honest about this.

Unfortunately, we arrived in Paris during a heat wave and, instead of the temperature being a normal 78 - 80 deg F, it was 95 all three days. Paris is not known for its A/C, the older buildings definitely don't have it and we weren't expecting it. My only suggestion would be to have a second, larger box fan available to supplement the small fan already in the apartment for those very hot summer days.

Otherwise, this was a great apartment to start our 13-day France adventure - celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary!

Quiet and comfortable in the middle of the Latin Quarter.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this flat! It was very quiet considering how close it is to many attractions. The Latin Quarter has plenty to offer with restaurants and cafes within a minutes walk. The metro and many bus stops are also very close. This was our second stay, and we hope to return!
