Nicely decorated with antique and contemporary art and furniture, suitable for 3 or 4 persons, third floor (with elevator) of a charming 1928 small luxury building, surrounded by trees and gardens, in one of Rome's best neighborhoods. It has one small room with a twin size bed, a master bedroom with a king size bed, a lovely living room with dining area, separated kitchen and a bathroom with shower.

Amenities include air con, heating, smart HD TV, DVD,, iron and board, dishwasher, washer, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, wifi high speed internet connection. Kitchen is fully equipped. Linens and towels are provided.

The area is world famous for its ancient village-like streets and it is full of traditional restaurants, bars and pubs. It is itself one of the city attractions.

The apartment is at walking distance from all the most popular sites and it is very well serviced by public transportation. Within a five minutes walk you will find 4 supermarkets, many food stores, a big wine shop, an organic food store and an open air market. The exact location is via Filippo Casini.

Great location

We stayed here for a few days during the heatwave of July 2023 and it was HOT outside but in the apartment it was wonderfully cool due to the very efficient air conditioning in the lounge room. The apartment is on the 2nd floor but there's a lift which is useful if you have heavy bags, which we did. The accommodation is in a great location, only a 5-10min walk to all the fabulous restaurants that are in abundance in this area. It was also a great location for getting around Rome. We walked to attractions like The Trevi Fountain from here, and even to The Colosseum and The Vatican. If walking isn't your thing, it is very easy to hop on/off buses, we used google maps to assist with timetabling. It was easy to hop on a bus to the terminal to get a train to the airport. You can buy bus tickets at the local shops. Don't forget to activate your bus/train tickets or you risk a fine. We were very happy with the apartment, location and our overall stay in Trastevere, and would highly recommend staying here.

Apartment in Trastevere

Excellent location for evening walks to restaurants, cafes and bars in Trastevere. 5 mins from the Basilica Santa Maria. 30 mins walk to The Collesuem and Trevi Fountain or 10mins in a taxi. The location was excellent and Paolo the host was very helpful with our check-in. The apartment accommodated 4 adults and was clean, quiet and in a good neighbourhood. A great start to our travels around Italy.

What a heavenly place

Enough has been said by other reviewers about how marvelous it is to stay in this beautiful apartment that I can't offer much more in the way of praise, except to say that I never wanted to leave. We loved staying in the neighbourhood that much. Spend a day just walking around Trastevere and in particular the streets just off via Filippo Cassini. It'll be time well spent. Paolo is a great host, there whenever you call him with all the information you want and any help you might need. Thanks Paolo, it was fun.

Perfect location in Trastevere

Paolo's apartment is spacious, light, comfortable and quiet- everything you could ask for in a well located base for visiting the Eternal City. Paolo was welcoming and very helpful with advice on restaurants, shops and public transport and taxis. We stayed as a couple, at the end of a long holiday in Italy and welcomed all the amenities as shown in the description-especially the washing machine. We had no difficulty seeing all the sights either by walking or taking the tram or bus which are very close to the apartment.

Why they chose this property

The street is part of the centre but it is definetely out of the noise and the caos, yet it is only five minutes away from the lively and interesting medieval neighborhood of Trastevere and a 15 minutes walk from the main tourist attractions. The street is exclusive, residential and very green, it is also very peaceful and the building, which hosts only 8 apartments, was designed by a famous architect in 1928.

This apartment welcomes the guests with a tasteful decoration, nice views over private gardens with palm trees and a touch of luxury. It is kept very clean, it is bright, confortable and quiet.
