Needs routine maintenace
Convenient location, about 25 min drive to base and walking distance to the neighborhood Walmart. The house was not cleaned very well when we moved it, there was animal hair in all the rugs and on all the furniture, there was a splash of something sticky on the master bath door, and a full drawer of socks and underwear from whom I assume was the person before us. While cleaning supplies were available, the vacuum did nothing to pull up hair from the carpets. While the property manager was extremely friendly and would quickly fulfill requests that only required him to purchase something and drop it off (like a new grill), most requests that required actual maintenance (the back gate to throw the trash away wouldn't open very far, the dishwasher wouldn't clean dishes, the seal on the back door need screwed in, the back door had to have about 40lbs of force on it to close) were never taken care of. The first day I was in the house I noticed the water filtration system leaking, and it took me asking him 4 times and several weeks before it was finally fixed. He did quickly get a repairman in to fix a broken bathroom facet near the end of our trip. There is an xBox for guests to use, with two broken controllers and no power cord. There is a TV in each bedroom and one in the living room, but there was only one remote in the whole house (we never asked to repair/replace this stuff, because there were things that were more important to us that never got taken care of). Before we booked we asked if he would be flexible on the move out dates, because I am in pilot training and didn’t have an exact end date, and he told us he would block the place for an extra month and to let him know how long we planned to extend as we got closer. When we were still a month and a half away from leaving I asked to extend 2 of the 4 weeks he had agreed to block off and he told us he already had it reserved and he could only extend us 5 days. So we were forced to find another place to stay to finish out training. On the positive side, there were full bottles of soap, shampoo, and laundry detergent for us to use.

We did enjoy our stay, there were some pros and cons. The beds and pillows were great, and home was close for us to access the WSMR. Floor layout nice and sofas were comfy.Enjoyed the magazines left on coffee table in living room. It was nice to have the garage to store some of our things in. Close to restaurants and Neighbor hood Walmart Market close by. The downside was no wash cloths in either bathroom, 2 sheets of kleenex left in box, ran out of handsoap in guest bath, moved over what was barely left in master bath, tiled floors were very dirty and needing to be swept and mopped. I dropped the cap to my water bottle which rolled under love seat sofa and it was so dirty I left it there. I dropped some coffee grinds on tile floor next to trash in kitchen and went to clean with a wet papertowel to pick up, the papertowel was completely brown from dirt when I wiped up the coffee grinds,Hair on bath mats and some hair in master bath shower, bar counter top had crumbs on it when we arrived. Master bath should have a trash can in it. Chairs around dining table not to sturdy. Utensils spotty and not clean, had to hand wash mugs and glasses before using them. Disappointed in the cleanliness of home.
