Sanibel Harbour Resort - 2BR/2BA - Panoramic Bayfront Condo!

This is our family's second home and our favorite place to be! It is a 1250 SF (under air) + lanai, two-bedroom, two-bath, luxurious, eighth-floor condominium at the world-class, Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa; the only four star, four diamond resort in southwest Florida! The Sanibel Harbour Resort is situated on a private peninsula on 85 acres of lush, tropical, unspoiled, San Carlos Bay waterfront off the Gulf of Mexico.

Situated at waters edge the unit has truly unobstructed, panoramic views of Sanibel, Captiva, Pine, and numerous preserve islands.

Enjoy the many resort amenities or area attractions; or, just enjoy quiet times walking our private beach or just gazing out over the bay and islands from our large private lanai (balcony) to often spot dolphin, manatee, eagles, and other birds and wildlife. It seems you can almost reach out and touch them!

Bay views from every room! and a western orientation for those glorious sunsets! Use our blender to make your favorite island drink, relax, and enjoy!

Use ONLY dishwasher approved detergent in dishwasher. Not doing so will cause water seapage and possible flooding! Starter kits are provided.
Close slider doors - windows if A/C is in use. A/C units set to unreasonably low settings will only freeze A/C coils and cause unit to malfunction
CAUTION - HIGH WINDS Do not open entrance door if windows or slider doors are open. Door WILL slam open or shut depending on current winds!

RELAXATION
The view was UNBELIEVABLE! Better than the picutres. The condo was better than the pictures. I thoroughly enjoyed the property because it wasn't commercialized and crowded with vacationers. Relaxing at the pool was actually relaxing. You didn't have to listen to someone else's music blaring so loud that you had to scream to talk. It was a different beach experience than I'm used to. AND I loved every second of it. I would definetly come back!

Nice view
It was nice location, didn’t like the open air to get to unit. Needed extra pots and pans and softer bathroom towels. Overall very nice for the price. My daughter and I enjoyed it.

Best vacation in years!
I was hesitant to rent a property on the bay as we usually stay on the gulf. However, the views from this condo are more than advertised! We saw manatees every day, plus many dolphins, rays, and a whole slew of different birds. The little private beach behind the condo is perfect for early morning fishing, if you’re so inclined. (It’s good for swimming and suntanning too. ) In the space of 100 feet of beach I caught mangrove snapper, lane snapper, snook, and a big jack crevalle. I also caught a lot of hard head catfish, but they are considered a “junk” fish on the gulf. The best part about this rental, however, is the owner, Henry. He accommodated us with an early check in when he was in no way obligated to…and it worked great as the previous renters were gone long before we got there. Henry also answered every question we had within minutes of us sending a text or email. I have quite literally, in 30 years of staying in condos on the Gulf of Mexico, never met an owner/manager more committed to customer service and ensuring everything is to your liking. It was a blessing for me and my family to stay there, and plan to do so again next year.

Great view is an understatement
There was some confusion with the email from the owner, but I called the number provided and he called back right away. We were greeted with a bottle of wine which my wife loves, the place was spotless, the view was beautiful. I thought that we would only be able to see the sunset, but because it's on the 8th floor you can also see the sunrise. Easy access to the beach, boat ramp, restaurant, shopping, all of which are just a hop, skip, and a jump away. The only thing I have to complain about is the bugs (no-see-ums) and the mattress. We ended up sleeping in the small beds. But that's no biggie.

We enjoy our retirement lifestyle and our home is the place we love the best. We do some travel, recently retired our motorcycle rides, enjoy drives in our vintage Corvette, golf, quiet walks, love the arts (dinner theatres, etc) cook , read, and enjoy family and friends. Our condo is one of our most favorite places to be.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the area in the early 90's while visiting a friend's home. Upon discovering the Sanibel Harbour Resort, I knew that I had to someday own there.
My first impression of the Resort was the beautiful 1/4 mile, winding, tree-lined, private road leading into the Resort.
Upon seeing the openess of the condo units for the first time with their view of the bay, preserve islands, and sunset orientation we knew we had found our little spot of heaven on earth!

What makes this property unique

Close to whatever you may want; downtown Fort Myers (unique, historic area & Thomas Edison & Henry Ford estates (20 min), Fort Myers Beach (15 min), Sanibel Island (100 yards to the causeway), restaurants on site & close by, shopping, golfing, Bayview Tower's
privatebeach (or others within minutes), fishing, boating (Resort offers a 95' yacht - dinner and sunset cruises, etc are available).
