Casita, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2) NO smoking
Do you like my self-portrait? I'm a former D.C. lobbyist, a sometime artist who drove up the canyon road past the hairpin turn one weathery afternoon, over the top to the view, and into the rest of my life.
firstname.lastname@example.org purchased this Cottage in 1999
Why email@example.com chose El Prado
The old adobes of Taos are very special. Handmade, each one unique, with soft welcoming curves. History, romance, old legends, an historic neighborhood, and astoundiing views.
What makes this Cottage unique
The casita was originally a workshop with a primitive bedroom and bath. It was so much fun creating a unique, special, evocative place to relax and be inspired. Old adobe is magical. The magic rubs off -- you'll see!

Great New Mexico Adobe Casita
Cozy Casita with Mountain View’s and clear NM Sky for artists or just quiet relaxation. Great communications with owner!
Very cute casita
Enjoyed our stay. Great for chilling out and reading, painting and enjoying the birds, breezes and blue skies.
Charming adobe with mountain view
It was extremely pleasant to sit on the covered porch, enjoying the constant breeze and watching the colors of the mountains change in the shifting light. There is a fenced yard so our dog was safe from the road. The Casita itself is very charming with its adobe walls, beamed ceiling and tile floors. It was very prettily furnished and the kitchen was well stocked. We lacked for nothing and immediately felt at home.
Peace and quiet
This was amazing place to stay. The scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed how close we were to everything. Would definitely stay again.
Great retreat with your dog
Very lovely, quiet place with a beautiful view. Note, there is no dishwasher. And the shower is tiny -- I am 5'4" and 100 lbs and found it really hard to move around.
Hmmm -- it's a standard stall-type shower shell, my son is 6'4 and he hasn't had a problem? It was nice to have Joanna though. :o)
The casita was perfect in every way. Ann was an amazing owner and was extremely friendly and thoughtful. We will recommend HomeWay and this Casita to our friends
