This immaculate beach-house is located in North Beach, a desirable area of Long Beach Island far enough from the crowds to be peacefully quiet, but still convenient to major attractions and shopping.

Mere steps away from a private beach (guarded in season), and just two blocks from tennis courts. (Tennis passes are provided.)

Northern Star features reverse-living with the living room, kitchen, and dining area, and master bedroom on the upper floor. The home has a dumbwaiter in the garage to effortlessly hoist belongings, groceries, etc. from the ground floor/garage level to the top floor. This is a real time-saver (and back-saver!)

A spacious, open floor plan gives this home a light and airy feel. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating, around a large flat -screen TV with DVD for your family's entertainment and enjoyment. A balcony off this level has outdoor seating as well.

The beautiful kitchen has cottage-style cabinetry, all new appliances, granite counter tops, and is beautifully equipped.

Custom detailing is evident throughout the home. The dining area adjacent to the kitchen has a nice size table with chair-seating for 5 plus a built-in custom-upholstered, cushioned bench crafted in the same cottage style as the kitchen cabinets. The stairway between the second and top floor has custom baseboard lighting.

The Queen Master bedroom with private bath is located on this level. The bath features a luxurious Japanese soaking tub, plus separate tiled shower.

There is also a powder room on this level.

Linens and household towels are included (in season only). Guests must bring their own beach towels

The lower level of the home has 3 bedrooms and a large laundry room equipped with a wood table for folding.

The Queen bedroom on this level has a private balcony.

The other two bedrooms have 2 twin beds.

Decor throughout the home is updated, with a classic coastal cottage feel. Beautiful bamboo flooring enhances the vacation ambiance.

For guests' convenience and enjoyment, the homeowner provides 8 beach chairs and a beach umbrella, passes to tennis courts located 2 blocks away, and three 24" bikes and helmets.

There is also an outdoor shower.



This home has three floors accessed by stairs only. There is no elevator in the home. As noted above a dumb-waiter is available for lifting some smaller pieces of luggage, groceries, etc.

Parking for 4 cars at the property.

We rented this beautiful home for a long weekend visiting my family from out of town. The home is exactly as you see it on the website. The owner has done a great job in creating a classy yet comfortable Nantucket style home. The furnishings were very comfortable and the large Tv in the living area was great to watch a movie. The master bedroom has a beautiful bathroom with an interesting deep tub. i have never seen a tub like this before, but it was very relaxing to soak in the tub while reading a book by candle light. The home lived very well for entertaining our family. This home is a beautiful place to make memories. Thank you for making this visit special. We will be back!

There is also a dumbwaiter in the garage to get your belongings to the upper level. The home boasts hardwood flooring throughout, with very tasteful, yet comfortable furnishings. The home has 2.5 baths that feature exquisite tile work. The master bedroom located on the upper level, has a large, frame-less glass-surround shower on this floor. There is a large guest bath with walk-in tile adjacent to the remaining bedrooms on the lower level. The home also features 2 decks, and ample off street parking. Owner provides Linens and bath towels. Guest provide Beach towels and beach tags. PETS require a photo for homeowner approval The home is a must see!!

A group of friends and i rented this house for a week in summer 2009. It is EXACT to description and Perfect!! My party of eight slept very comfortably and the location is great for the beach and shopping. A lot of great memories were made in this house. A MUST RENT!!

Perfect beach vacation!

House is immaculate and very well stocked! Full supply of beach towels, beach chairs, bikes - everything you want or need. The kitchen has every appliance and utensil you might need and even has a full spice rack. House is situated on the corner of Long Beach Blvd, but still only 3 houses from the very quiet, private beach. Enjoyed a few lovely meals out at 414 and Ship Bottom Shack, but also liked staying on the beach into the early evening and just cooking home or BBQ-ing. Great week.

we had an excellent time. lucille provides us with so many amenities. the house is updated and is very convenient to the beach, and we love the area.we are checking our schedules to try and come back next year. we would definately reccomend staying here.

lbi vacation

it was first time in lbi. lucille house was very comfortable and was very convenient to the beach and to the places we wanted to see.the customer service was excellent,and the house was spotless. the listing discription was accurate regarding the layout and location. we went crabbing, sightseeing,went to the beach and enjoyed the great restaurants in lbi. would definately recommendthis house to a friend

Beautiful Home.

This is a beautiful home. The whole family had a great time. It is less than 1 block to the bay in one direction and the ocean in the other. The only drawback is grilling outside is a bit inconvenient. The grill is outside in the yard and the kitchen/family room is on the third floor. If that is the only complaint ... you know it is a great place.

North Beach Rental

This was a great vacation. We had my daughter and son in law and new granddaughter with us. The house was beautiful, very close to the beach with private beach access and the area is very quiet yet very close to everything you need in restaurants and shopping and a quick drive to the lighthouse or other parts of LBI. This is the 2nd year I used ADMS as a rental company and both times they were very responsive and helpful. I will be back next year !!
