Hello, My name is Lene, I am a teacher in drawing and painting in an evening scool in Lyngby. I have two children and two grandchildren. I love to gather friends and family in my lovely house and garden and they love to be here and enjoy the sun and listen to the birds singing. As soon as my son arrives he starts mowing the lawn, and my daughter is making the coffe. The children are playing with the fishing net in the pond.
Lene Bang purchased this villa in 2002
I love living in Lyngby. Here is a good atmosphere, it is lively, people are kind and it is close to green areas. I had a dream of living in Lyngby and took my bike to find the house of my dreams. As soon as I came to Frem I fell in love with the area. And the house of my dreams were for sale - the best of all the Frem houses. Turned south, perfect location. The sweetest neighbourghs. Fine and peaceful house.
I have now been living here for 13 years and I am still in love. I have changed windows and floors, and built a wooden terrace. I have recently upgraded my bedroom with fresh paint, new curtains and luxury elevation beds. Now I want to rent it for periods when I can stay in my summerhouse or if I am travelling (which I also love). I cannot be away from my house and my cat for a longer period, therefore, if you are a student at DTU and need a place to live, I am sorry but you do not need to ask me.
Quietly, the end of a cul de sac in a charming neighborhood, this cozy half-detached house with a wonderful south facing garden. Yet surprisingly centrally situated in the middle of Kongens Lyngby within walking distance of the cozy, vibrant main street with its many cafes and restaurants and great shopping in Magasin and Lyngby Storcenter. At the end of the main street you will find Lyngby lake where you can rent a canoe, or sail a beautiful trip with the old company "Bådfarten". The beautiful museum, Sophienholm always offers interesting exhibitions and if it not too windy, you can be tempted with Furesøbad´s Brazilian grill after a swim in Furesøen. The Open Air Museum is a great attraction that you should not miss out on. Admission is free. Give the kids a ride in horse stables at Fortunen at the entrance to the park. Enjoy the great plains in the Deer Park with Eremitageslottet and the amusement park "Bakken" as exciting attractions. Visit 'MATADOR on the Bakken, if you come by car, a Strandvej Cruise is mandatory. Take a swim at Bellevue, Skodsborg or Vedbæk and continue up the coast, you could perhaps enjoy lunch in the fashionable Rungsted harbour, or look at art in Nivågaard or Louisiana which also have a splendid view to Sweden from their excellent cafeteria. . If you like art, there is not far to Ordrupgård or Sophienholm.
