Refreshing Family Mountain Escape with Stunning views

  • 5 of 5

The home has beautiful mountain architecture and stunning views from every level. This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful home's I've ever stayed in. We booked this cabin last minute during memorial weekend to visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton National parks. I am glad that we found a beautiful cabin and everything was perfect.

Rooms are grand and updated in a modern mountain style. There are decks on every level to sit and enjoy the views. You can have a barbecue or relax in the hot LOVE shaped tub after a great day of hiking and other activities’ couldn't think of a nicer place to stay for a trip to Yellowstone or Grand Teton if you are making last minute reservations. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Host Neal was awesome; he was very patient with my calls and texts and replied promptly.

awesome views-spacious house

  • 4 of 5

Once you make the very long trek up the gravel road driveway, you will not be disappointed of the view! The house was spacious for our crew of 12 with one infant as we used the house as base camp for day trips to Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, and elsewhere.

Although there were 4 bedrooms, we were still short one bed and the folding futons were less than ideal to sleep on. The house was clean with plenty of room for all of us to eat and entertain without feeling cramped. The two sets of washers and dryers was a huge plus. The large wrap around decks were nice to sit under in the morning and evenings.

Although a few drawbacks were noted. First was that the yard was not kept up and thistles grew everywhere, including in front of the steps going into the house. You had to watch were you were walking. Let alone the pile of bones spread out in the front where cars where to park.

Although a campfire ring was on site, there was no wood to gather and needed to go to town for $15 small bundle of wood.

The lock on the front door was sticky and members found themselves locked out a couple of times.

We did have a power outage one night around 2am. Called the caretaker but did not get a return call until 9:45 the next day. Fortunately, it was due to a storm and not other issues. We just thought that there should have been followup much quicker.

There is a national forest waiting to be discovered in the backyard, which is something we did not take advantage as our stay was too short. From the house, we seen whitetail deer, antelope, and/or elk daily.

Overall, this would be a house to recommend despite the list of drawbacks/issues. The view of mountains from the one bedroom as you awake was amazing!!

Wonderful place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This place was amazing. The cabin was beautiful and so are the mountain views. Loved the fact that it was right on the edge of a National Forest, had some wildlife come fairly close to the house. Inside the house was really nice, very well maintained and spacious, which was nice since we had a group of 11. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin and would definitely return in the future. Loved it!!

Beautiful setting over the hill just out skirt of Dubois.

  • 5 of 5

We had three families stayed at this wonderful location. The town of Dubois was about 6 miles away and far enough from the crowd. Yellowstone and Jackson Hole is only few hours away where you can easily get to. Our family was very impressed with the location and the quietness. The costs were reasonable when you have multiple families contributed. Just make sure you bring your own food and everyday essentials. There is no air conditioning but at night, it gets down to low 50s during Summertime. The sun rises around 6:40 AM and the view from the balcony was amazing 😉?. Make sure you have a cup of coffee ☕ with you while enjoying the morning sun.

Fantastic views and roomy!

House was beautiful and spacious with terrific views all around. Some minor issues such as loose boards on deck, kitchen faucet spraying out of control, and faulty windows.
