San Niccolo Apartment
Our overall impression of this property is that it is very nice.
The neighborhood where the apartment is located is convenient to all of the major sights typically within an easy 10-20 minute walk. The building and the neighborhood are quiet and there are plenty of very good restaurants , bars, pizza places, grocery stores, and all of the other essentials very close. The apartment itself is nice and bright and the views are incredibly beautiful and include Piazzale Michelangelo, the nerarby gardens, and San Miniato. The owner Alessandra is very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our nearly 3 week stay very much and would defintely return in the future.
Bruce Thank you. I'm happy that you enjoyed your holiday in Florence,,,,It was a pleasure having you at the Flò apartment. You were great guests to have!
A great, affordable flat. Pretty view. Very spacious. A few minor quirks, but nothing to outweigh the positives. Suggestions: Best place for morning coffee is Il Rifrullo, right on Via di S. Niccolò a half block away. Buy gelato on south side of Arno (near flat) and away from Ponte Vecchio (half the price). Book museums online. Great gloves at Martelli Factory store on Via Por Santa Maria. Handbags at Toni & Co. on Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli.
Thank you for your review!
This is a lovely apartment. I had THE BEST time here. One month in Florence and this place became a home to me. If you’re lucky enough to stay here please take care of my home away from home. I will be coming back. Good furniture, real china, an elevator, a fantastic view, good kitchen, good bed and the water pressure is strong. I mean, seriously, this apartment rocks. Alessandra is very responsive. My home In Florence....❤️
Robin thank you for your review. I'm lucky to have nice and kind guests like you! I hope to see you again very soon.
Superb location, close to town and brilliant for local life.
We loved our stay in Florence. Alessandra was a thoughtful host, full of her own recommendations in person and written. Beautiful apartment. We love the area: serene and off the beaten track but buzzy with plenty of local coffee shops, bars and restaurants, gorgeous views of the Tuscan hills, the sounds of church bells as we had coffee... and all less than 10 minutes walk from the action. Sound of the river is where to go!
Christina thank you for your kind review. I’m happy that you enjoyed your stay at Flo apartment.
Best views in Florence!! You'll spend hours staring up into the hills listening to the church bells. A perfect location! So close to everything, yet quiet at night too. All the comforts of home. Amazing host!
It was really a pleasure to host Lori and his daughter, and I was glad she enjoyed the house. Thank you very much for your review:))
The apartment is in the historic center of Florence. With a pleasant walk you can reach all the places of interest of our splendid city. To give you an idea from your apartment in 5 minutes walk you can reach the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi, while in 15 minutes Piazza del Duomo and Santo Spirito.
The district of San Niccolò is located in the area called 'Oltrarno', known as the Artisans and antique dealers district.
Piazza San Niccolò is a small charming square with a beautiful church. Here you will find cafes and typical restaurants where you can sit (even outdoors if the weather permits ..) and taste the typical products of our cuisine.
From Porta San Miniato you can reach Piazzale Michelangelo and Forte Belvedere.
In May, don't miss the ancient Rose Garden.
San Niccolò with its charm with its colors and its atmosphere will steal your heart!
