Enjoy the 90' lakefront, comfortable 4 bedroom, 2 bath house (cen. AC/heat) that is completely and tastefully remodeled and includes tile throughout the downstairs, newer appliances and granite counters in the kitchen, plus 3 sliding glass doors for stunning views of the sunset over the lake . One bedroom, with slider and private balcony, is upstairs, which contains a queen size bed and opens to a westward view of the lake. Of the 3 bedrooms downstairs, one has a king bed, one has a queen bed, and the 3rd contains 2 twin beds. The living room has a couch and a large futon and can be closed off by double french doors for additional sleeping space. The screened porch off the living room, also with the lake view, has 2 ceiling fans, gas grill and table for 6-8, which is a great way to barbecue and enjoy the stunning sunsets.
The house sits on almost an acre of land. The 'back yard' has a rolling lawn and 3 towering oak trees, complete with picturesque Spanish moss, fire pit, ending at the lake (not fenced). The complete yard is fenced on 3 sides, but open with 90 feet of natural lake front along this quiet lake. There is a 199 ft. dock with 2 slips and a boat ramp is 2 min. away. At the end of the boat dock is a screened boat house with chairs, inviting another delightful place to enjoy the sunset. Fish from the dock or bring your canoe, kayak, or boat for the open boat slip.
A stand-alone 6 car garage with an upstairs 2 room apartment is also for additional rent. This air conditioned furnished apartment contains an efficiency kitchen and three piece bathroom, two twin beds, table and chairs, and cable TV in the front room and two twin beds in the back room.
Parking is ample and there is space for RV, but no hook up. Please call for availability dates, calendar not always accurate.

Conveniently located between Sebring and Lake Placid and only 6.5 miles away (9 min) from the Sebring Raceway. Less than 1 mile is a Dollar Store and gas/convenience store. The local grocery, Publix is 6 miles away (either north to Sebring or south to Lake Placid).8 area golf courses. 2 wineries 5 min away.
All race event weekends-porche-corvette-Chin, Ferrari, SCCA., NASA, etc., or 12 hr. race, only 9 min (no traffic) from Sebring Raceway. Motorcycles & jet skis welcome.

A little TLC needed

Where to begin, the first day the water heater died but was fixed within a reasonable amount of time, then the city water feed broke so no water at all, but was fixed in reasonable amount of time. The house is kinda cramped with the king in the master bedroom not leaving much room to get around. The screens on the dock and the back deck were punched out so it made them unusable, but there were fixed a day before we left. Only one of the bedrooms had a TV. The front door jamb blew out but again was fixed so we could lock the door. The photos on line did not truly represent the property, but with some TLC and clean up it wouldn't be too bad. On the up side it was a nice quiet neighborhood with a nice view of the lake. The beds were comfy and there the A/C blew cold, This property needs to update the photos and do some landscaping. With all the problems the owners did offer us a few extra days for free, but we could only stay one due to the fact we had to be back up north.

Paradise every day

We enjoyed the beauty of the lake and all the flowers and wildlife. The neighborhood was mostly quiet and the weather beautiful. The screened in porch was enjoyed by all, including the pets.

We live in Fort Lauderdale, Fl and Don is an engineer/general contractor and Kathryn is an artist. We orginally thought the house would be a great vacation house, but it seems it is a source of endless creative projects!

WE HAVE A SPECIAL FOR ALL RACE TEAMS, for the March 2022 race week the house will be rented for the week starting rent will be $ 2,900.00 - $ 3,200.00.
SUMMER WEEKENDS $84.00 a night per room, minimum 4 rooms to rent. Don is an amateur race car driver and loves the track. Kathryn is an artist and loves the natural lake views and peaceful atmosphere. She is originally from Indiana and is reminded of that Midwestern niceness of the people in the area.

What makes this property unique

We have plenty of room to entertain family and friends. After a noisy day at the track, or a busy day of sight seeing, it is wonderful to come 'home' to a quiet beautiful sunset over the lake. Life is good! Upstairs balcony makes for great star watching on the clear nights away from the big city lights.
