Unlike many listings, this home is actually in Buck Hill Falls, the very special 120 year old community of families, outdoor and cultural activities and entertainment, a bubble of enlightenment in the peaceful Pocono.

All Buck Hill's famous amenities and attractions are available to guests, including the 27 hole Donald Ross golf course, swimming, tennis, fly fishing, hiking, trail running and mountain biking on our network of trails through old growth forest.

Buck Hill generally requires a minimum stay of 30 nights for visitors. However, if you are looking to return to Buck Hill to reunite with family and/or friends or attend a Buck Hill family event, the minimum stay is just 3 nights. Wonderful Stay

The townhouse was as advertised. Wonderful views and Enjoyable community for the whole family. Charlie was very responsive and attentive!

Good price point for location, with some tweaks would be five stars

This attached unit was very nice and mostly as advertised. It had some really great features, as well as some things I wish I had known before staying (though we still would have booked) - both of which I'll detail below. The that really worked: - Great open layout, filled with light, wonderful view into trees and onto the golf course - proximity to small recreational area with sledding hill (when it snows), ice skating pond, paddle ball courts, outdoor fire pit, etc. - hardwood floors in lower level and carpeting throughout bedrooms, really nice - great fireplace - nice covered porch with grill - hot water dispenser on sink perfect for French press coffee and hot chocolate/tea - wonderfully comfortable reclining chairs throughout, lots of nice blankets - great walk in shower with multiple jets in master en suite - one of the bedrooms upstairs had a memory foam mattress - small upstairs bonus room with tv and more reclining couches - second fridge in garage for drinks/overflow - great surround sound and entertainment set up in the main room Things to note - there were some things broken when we got there, including a non functioning grill. But the owner was quick to respond/replace as soon as he was able - in winter months will take some time to heat up, and thermostats would lower overnight so oftentimes woke up to a pretty chilly house - make sure to bring your own firewood/starter - dining room only seats four people. If you have six staying, some people will need to sit elsewhere for meals - no large coffee pot. French press was nice, but had to refill it multiple times over the course of brunch for four adults - some kitchen items needed updating - no non stick pans and a very old cutting board, eg - found some random personal items left by previous tenants that should have been picked up before our stay This rental would benefit from a little more attention to detail and perhaps a few updates, but the owner was responsive to all the issues we brought to his attention. Overall this house was comfortable, if a bit quirky - but with some adjustments we had a great time and I would recommend (though perhaps better for a family of four rather than five or six).
