This duplex has 2 floors. Upstairs it has 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and one with bunk beds and two sofa bed, plus a bathroom and a balcony.

The ground floor has a living room (with TV, DVD and stereo), fully equipped kitchen with all appliances (hob, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, juicer, kettle, washing machine, dryer ...) , a shower room and a large terrace with barbecue.

There is air conditioning on both floors, Internet access throughout the house.

The urbanization has a large pool, one for children, table tennis and paddle tennis community. It is closed and has surveillance cameras. In the public areas internet.

Brilliant! Everything you need within 10 minutes walk

We were met by Maria's son, David. His English is excellent, he showed us round the complex and house and explained everything for us, wifi, hot water, remember to ask him where to put your rubbish!! The house itself is faultlessly spotless and superbly equipped (so much so, we hope we put everything back where it belongs)!

The kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need, there's even a hand blender, great for cocktails! Basics, such as salt, pepper, basic herbs, sugar, etc, are all provided, making cooking in very easy. There is a new supermarket just a five minute walk around the corner, Mercadona. Great fresh butcher, fishmonger, deli counters and everything else you'd need.

The rest of the house has everything you could possibly need too. Great space for everyone and the extra bathroom was a huge bonus.

It's a good fifteen minute walk to the promenade in Meloneras and a good forty five minute walk up to Playa Del Ingles but both very easy walks if you don't mind walking. However, it's only €5 in a taxi up to Playa if you wanted to have a night up there. It's probably about the same again, a little less from Meloneras back to the house. Although it may seem as the house is out of the way, it's really not, especially if you like a little peace and quiet.

The complex itself is great. Unfortunately it wasn't pool weather at Christmas it was very comfortable on the terrace at the back. Again the place is spotless, not a bit of litter lying around, even the road was immaculate. Our only issue was the neighbours, I think also in a holiday rental. They were quiet noisy, especially coming and going, but to be fair, the gate next door could do with being looked at.

I would thoroughly recommend the house, its great value. Much more spacious than a tourist complex and in many cases, much, much cleaner. Thanks to Maria for letting us have the house, it may be a while before we're back in GC but I would definitely try to book this again.

Try the Indian on the prom, fantastic. Avoid, Cafe Del Mar, trendy bar on prom, very expensive for what you get, don't order Baileys!! You'd be bitterly disappointed.

Lovely House in a Great Location

This house is ideal if you want to base yourself in Meloneras but don't want to be right in the centre of the resort. It is about 15 minutes walk downhill to Costa Meloneras to all the restaurant, cafes, shops and beaches. This was ideal for our holiday. There is a large Mercadona supermarket just a few minutes walk from the property.

The house was very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The rear patio was lovely and very private. It had a large awning to provide shade when required. The property is in a lovely residential complex and the house has the added bonus of an underground car park space.

We were met at the property by Maria Isabel and her son David who showed us around the house and explained everything to us. They were very friendly and even provided a welcome pack which included local biscuits and chocolates.

We would definitely recommend this property if you are thinking about staying in Meloneras.

Wunderschönes ruhiges Haus in perfekter Lage

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Patrizia und Frau Solanes herzlich empfangen.Patrizia gab uns gab uns auf deutsch alle notwendigen Informationen.Mehr noch: sie erklärte uns den Weg zu einem tollen spanischen Restaurant - ein echter Geheimtipp - alleine hätten wir das nie gefunden!

Im Haus erwartete uns ein liebevoll bestückter Begrüßungskorb.

Das Haus selbst ist liebevoll ausgestattet, sehr sauber, absolut ruhig gelegen. Bei unserem Aufenthalt über 5 Wochen haben wir nichts vermisst.Die kleine überschaubare Anlage ist sehr sicher.Nur mit Chipkarte lassen sich die Eingangstore sowie die Garageneinfahrt öffnen.Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal: sowohl die Strände als auch die beeindruckende Bergwelt sind in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen.Wenn der Wind am Strand zu stark bläst, kein Probem: die Poollandschaft des Hauses ( mit stets sauberen Toiletten, genügend Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirmen) liegt windgeschützt.Wir haben das Schwimmen im Pool sehr genossen.Für unseren nächsten Gran Canaria Urlaub steht jetzt schon fest: wir buchen wieder das tolle Haus der Familie Solanes.Vielen Dank für einen traumhaften Urlaub.

Wunderschönes Haus in topanlage

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in dem tollen Haus der Familie Solanes verbracht. Das Haus ist ist genauso wie beschrieben. Sehr großzügig ausgestattet, sehr sauber, alles funktionierte. Wir wurden von David begrüsst, der uns auf deutsch alles erklärt hat. Wir haben den Pool genossen und auf den schönen terrassen relaxt. Wenn wir wieder nach gran Canada reisen, hoffen wir wieder das haus buchen zu können.

Great place to stay

We got a warm welcome of the owners. There was a basket on the kitchen table with all kind of sweets and a text in Dutch! The house is exactly what you could expect from the pictures on the website. It is clean and comfortable to stay. The house is located at the outside of the Residence, which give you a feeling of more space, freedom. It is also a corner house and it has nice plants in the garden. It's a bit noisy, but that didn't bother us. We were glad that the WiFi worked well. From the Residence you can walk to the Playa Meloneras, but if you prefer to go by car, it 's possible to park nearby. You can also walk to a supermarkt, it 's less than 5 minutes. So we were satisfied about the house. During our stay we couldn't use the swimming pool because of a restauration. That was a disapointment, but the owners offered us a free meal at a Mexican restaurant. We can recommend this restaurant: Tex Mex Chili's.

Very good home for vacation

We stayed for the first time at this house and it was very good, everything you want or needed was there.we recommend it to every one with kids .

The owners welcomed us when we came and are very friendly and give good information .we hope to come back in the future.only min point was the swimming pool was closed for renovation or cleaning and we could not use it .beach is 2 Km of the house , you need car if you want to see anything of Gran Canaria ,we liked the time we had here .thank you

The development is located 900 meters from the Meloneras beach, a quiet family beach.

There you find a nice long walk that takes you to the Faro de Maspalomas. On this tour you will find good restaurants, cafes with live music and plenty of shops.

Activities and attractions

A few minutes drive you have a variety of attractions for fun and visit. You'll find the amusement park largest island open daily. There is also the South Park where you can walk and play sports.

Nearby is a water park where you can enjoy with your family and Palmitos Park where you can spend a day seeing all the animals.

We are located very close to Maspalomas so you can also visit their amazing dunes.
