This duplex has 2 floors. Upstairs it has 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and one with bunk beds and two sofa bed, plus a bathroom and a balcony.

The ground floor has a living room (with TV, DVD and stereo), fully equipped kitchen with all appliances (hob, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, juicer, kettle, washing machine, dryer ...) , a shower room and a large terrace with barbecue.

There is air conditioning on both floors, Internet access throughout the house.

The urbanization has a large pool, one for children, table tennis and paddle tennis community. It is closed and has surveillance cameras. In the public areas internet.

The development is located 900 meters from the Meloneras beach, a quiet family beach.

There you find a nice long walk that takes you to the Faro de Maspalomas. On this tour you will find good restaurants, cafes with live music and plenty of shops.

Activities and attractions

A few minutes drive you have a variety of attractions for fun and visit. You'll find the amusement park largest island open daily. There is also the South Park where you can walk and play sports.

Nearby is a water park where you can enjoy with your family and Palmitos Park where you can spend a day seeing all the animals.

We are located very close to Maspalomas so you can also visit their amazing dunes.

Brilliant! Everything you need within 10 minutes walk

We were met by Maria's son, David. His English is excellent, he showed us round the complex and house and explained everything for us, wifi, hot water, remember to ask him where to put your rubbish!! The house itself is faultlessly spotless and superbly equipped (so much so, we hope we put everything back where it belongs)!

The kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need, there's even a hand blender, great for cocktails! Basics, such as salt, pepper, basic herbs, sugar, etc, are all provided, making cooking in very easy. There is a new supermarket just a five minute walk around the corner, Mercadona. Great fresh butcher, fishmonger, deli counters and everything else you'd need.

The rest of the house has everything you could possibly need too. Great space for everyone and the extra bathroom was a huge bonus.

It's a good fifteen minute walk to the promenade in Meloneras and a good forty five minute walk up to Playa Del Ingles but both very easy walks if you don't mind walking. However, it's only €5 in a taxi up to Playa if you wanted to have a night up there. It's probably about the same again, a little less from Meloneras back to the house. Although it may seem as the house is out of the way, it's really not, especially if you like a little peace and quiet.

The complex itself is great. Unfortunately it wasn't pool weather at Christmas it was very comfortable on the terrace at the back. Again the place is spotless, not a bit of litter lying around, even the road was immaculate. Our only issue was the neighbours, I think also in a holiday rental. They were quiet noisy, especially coming and going, but to be fair, the gate next door could do with being looked at.

I would thoroughly recommend the house, its great value. Much more spacious than a tourist complex and in many cases, much, much cleaner. Thanks to Maria for letting us have the house, it may be a while before we're back in GC but I would definitely try to book this again.

Try the Indian on the prom, fantastic. Avoid, Cafe Del Mar, trendy bar on prom, very expensive for what you get, don't order Baileys!! You'd be bitterly disappointed.

Lovely House in a Great Location

This house is ideal if you want to base yourself in Meloneras but don't want to be right in the centre of the resort. It is about 15 minutes walk downhill to Costa Meloneras to all the restaurant, cafes, shops and beaches. This was ideal for our holiday. There is a large Mercadona supermarket just a few minutes walk from the property.

The house was very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The rear patio was lovely and very private. It had a large awning to provide shade when required. The property is in a lovely residential complex and the house has the added bonus of an underground car park space.

We were met at the property by Maria Isabel and her son David who showed us around the house and explained everything to us. They were very friendly and even provided a welcome pack which included local biscuits and chocolates.

We would definitely recommend this property if you are thinking about staying in Meloneras.

Ottima scelta

Vacanza di 14 giorni e tutto perfetto, casa grande e pulita, ottima assistenza e disponibilità della proprietaria, comoda e tranquilla, completa di tutto con posto auto esterno al residence e interno coperto, bella piscina comune a 10 metri dalla casa, bella la casa e bello e spazioso il cortile interno attrezzato con tavolo sedie barbecue e lavandino, comoda anche la lavatrice, l’asciugatrice, lavastoviglie e .... una casa dove abitare e non solo come tante che si trovano che sono solo per turisti .. consiglio una macchina per spostarsi ... grazie di tutto OTTIMO

Perfekter Aufenthalt in sehr gepflegter privater Anlage

Las Velas ist eine gut abgesicherte sehr gepflegte (!) private Wohnanlage mit ausreichend großem Pool (war recht kühl - Oktober) samt vielen Liegen und Schirmen. Es war immer genug Platz. Der Mietwagen kann auf einem festen Tiefgaragenstellplatz geparkt werden – zum Be- / Entladen innerhalb der Anlage ist dies in einem zeitlichem Rahmen von bis zu 30 Minuten möglich.

Entfernung zum Strand beträgt ca. 900 m, am Strand selber ist es meist möglich, einen kostenfreien ansonsten kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz zu nutzen. Leider ist der schöne, ruhige Strand mit vielen großen Steinen im Wasserbereich ausgestattet.... au – vor allem bei Wellengang... Öffentliche Toiletten direkt an der Promenade, immer leichter Wind, herrlich.

Die Anlage selber besteht aus Reihenhäusern mit Terrasse(n). Dieses Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen (allerdings auch sehr hellhörig je nach Nachbarn...) - auf der anderen Straßenseite war / ist eine Baustelle über die Woche.

Mercadona-Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke mit riesiger Auswahl für alles und zu Discounter-Preisen !

Ganz liebe Einweisung bei der Ankunft von Alberto (ist vor Ort; spricht englisch) obwohl wir nicht genau wussten, wann wir ankommen. Von Maria stets per eMail Antworten innerhalb einer Stunde ! Notfalltelefonnummern diverser Ansprechpartner im Vorwege !

Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl im Haus gefühlt !!!

SEHR sauber ! Liebevoll privat eingerichtet !

Alles, was man braucht zu einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis !

Große durchgehende Terrasse mit Grill (Spülbecken, Utensilien, Insektenspray...), Waschmaschine, Trockner, Wäscheleine..., ausreichend alles vorhanden !

Elternbett war recht hart aber wir haben gepolstert :-), Kinder haben sich super wohl gefühlt im Etagenbett. Bettwäsche zur Auswahl, Handtücher, Badetücher, Seife, Küchenzubehör, Toilettenpapier usw. usw. (!!) alles da ! Wir wurden von Alberto darauf hingewiesen, dass wir alles im Haus nutzen dürfen (Gewürze, Kaffee...).

Bei Abreise ist es natürlich nett, selber etwas zurück zu lassen (Kohle, Seife, was so bleibt für die nächsten Gäste...).

Im Wohnzimmer Kuschelsofa, Bücher in allen Sprachen, Spiele, ausreichend TV-Programme, Essecke falls es draußen zu kalt wird etc...Küche Geschirrspüler samt Tabs, Backofen, Ceranfeld Herd, Wasserkocher, Saftpresse, Kaffeemaschine etc.

Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Alle Fenster mit Fliegengitter und Sonnenschutz.

schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Das Haus ist voll ausgestattet. Sogar Spiele für die Kinder sind vorhanden! Die Haushaltsgeräte (Geschirrspüler, Backofen, Gefrier-, Kühlschrank, Gefriertruhe, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, vollständiges Geschirr ... und sogar eine Orangenpresse) sind auf dem neusten Stand und voll funktionsfähig. Deutsche Fernsehprogramme und Internet waren ebenfalls verfügbar. Das Auto konnte in der Tiefgarage abgestellt werden, welche sich unter der ganzen Anlage erstreckt. Eine Treppe nach oben, eine kleine Straße überquert und man steht vor dem Haus. Der schöne große saubere Gemeinschafts-Pool wird von den anderen, auch einheimischen Bewohnern der Anlage wenig benutzt. Entspechend waren selten mehr als 10 Personen vor Ort, was sehr angenehm ist. Die Terassen und der Grill entsprechen exakt den Abbildungen. Aus unserer Sicht ist das Objekt sehr empfehlenswert!

Erg leuke en vooral complete woning op een rustig complex

Een woning op een rustig complex met eigen parkeerplaats in de kelder. Het complex was erg schoon en veilig door het gebruik van pasjes. Inclusief gebruik van zwembad en tennisbaan, waar het in de week heel erg rustig was.

De woning was ook erg schoon en voorzien van allerlei spullen om te kunnen gebruiken. Bij aankomst lag er een leuk welkomstpakketje klaar.
