Beautiful views. Close to good wineries and restaurants on Seneca Lake. Perfect for a quick trip, or longer stay if you want to enjoy lake activities. Owner was very accompdating.
Great cabin and views
Beautiful property on Seneca Lake. The views and sunsets are incredible. The cabin has everything you need and the owners have everything looking great. If you like to fish, the owner is a guide and knows what he's doing. We plan to make this an annual stay. Thanks Joe
Fantastic Long Weekend
We had a fantastic long weekend. Joe is a wonderful host. The house was immaculately clean inside, had all the amenities you could need and a cozy feel. The views of the lake and surrounding are gorgeous and the property is perfect for enjoying it all. The location can't be beat. It is just a short drive to all the best restaurants, wineries and breweries in the region. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return,
My wife and I have recently retired and we were looking for a place to just unwind and relax. Our now two adult kids were also up for a nice get away from the hassels and stress of work so they too decided to join in on our trip. We scanned the internet and found Joe Raos place advertised on Vrbo. His cottage is right off the Seneca Lake. We're glad we booked the week to stay at Joes. It was exactly what we were looking for. Its a nice cozy cottage with absolutely great views of the lake and fantastic sunsets. We took advantage every morning to sit lake side sipping coffee/tea while drinking in the scenery. Very peaceful and quiet. Joe also charters his boat so I took advantage to go out with Joe for a few hours to fish for lake trout. That was a first for me to fish from a boat and it was certaintly a fun experience. We caught 2 good size lake trout! We also ventured out to check out the 3 Brothers Brewery which was just a few miles from Joes place. We all had a great time wine and beer tasting. We also ventured out to check out the sites such as Corning Glassware, Watkins Glen, and Taughannock State Park. That walk in the park was well worth it for you were rewarded with a breath taking view of the falls. Absolutely beautiful. So long story short, if your looking for a quiet getaway look no further than at Joe 's place on Seneca Lake!
