This two-story, contemporary, 'upside down' house offers a light-filled, spacious, breezy home at the beach. Upstairs is the main living space, including living room, dining table, kitchen and half-bath, surrounded by trees and filled with ocean breezes. The ground floor offers three bedrooms and five beds (one master bedroom with a queen-size bed, and two bedrooms with two twins each), and a full-bath. The house is fully air conditioned.

Treehouse on the island

It was wonderful to stay at the treehouse in Fair Harbor. We loved the quiet town and the one minute walk to the beach. Lovely ocean breezes in the kitchen and dining room.

The Perfect Getaway

Very cute and clean house that was close to everything. There were lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, and bikes for our use, as well as Wifi service. The listing accurately described the house and neighborhood. It was very close to the bay and the ocean. The owner, Jason, was very responsive and a nice guy. I would recommend a stay here. It was very relaxing and I look forward to returning next summer.

Best value in Fair Harbor

My family enjoyed the house and the location immensely. A 90 second walk from both the bay and the beach, the house was perfect for us. My teens were able to roam free, and hole themselves up in their own bedrooms as they desired. I (unfortunately) had to work the whole week, but the WiFi was strong and uninterrupted. My wife enjoyed the outdoor shower, and we both loved lounging on the deck. While it’s true that the house lacked some of the (ridiculous) amenities found in other Fair Harbor rentals (e.g. outdoor table, wraparound deck, new/high end trimmings/appliances) we were more than happy to make the trade-off for the price paid. The house was clean and well-kept. We made use of the washer/dryer with no problem. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bikes were perfect, and the beach chairs plentiful.

Misleading needs updates

Missing supplies .... no paper towels and toilet paper .... grill dirty not cleaned. no table outside on the deck to eat at and not cleaned well between guests ..... bikes with no air in tires garbage left full from last guests for raccoons to get . Holes in screens let too many mosquitoes into home making sleep in bedrooms impossible. Badly in need of upkeep and maintenance.

Place is great. 1 minute walk to the ferry, restaurant, market , and bay. 2 minute walk and you’re at the ocean. The owner checked in with us ( via email) to make sure all was okay upon our arrival. House itself is a little dated ( throwback to the 80s) but was Clean. House also has some bikes , cart , boogie boards , and dishes Would recommend.
