Charming cottage, wonderful location!

  • 5 of 5

We loved every minute of our stay! The Snaefellsnes peninsula is lovely and this cottage is a great place to view northern lights and explore the peninsula! Would definitely recommend and will probably return next year!

Lovely home and fabulous location!

  • 5 of 5

This lovely one bedroom home has everything you need to be self-sufficient and enjoy the beauty of the natural environment. It's located in a little cluster of similar new (but fashioned in the old Icelandic style) homes and is well-kept with picnic table out the back door. Everything was clean (be aware that you do the cleaning when you leave so that it's nice for the next person), spacious-feeling and decorated in a very cozy, homey way. We had a problem accessing the DVD, but Jakob talked us down and we enjoyed their movie collection. Overall, a really wonderful vacation home! Oh, and Jakob was very helpful planning in advance of our trip!

So relaxing and super close to the National Park!

  • 5 of 5

My fiancé and I stayed at the cottage for 5 nights and loved it! We hiked in the National Park every day, it was so beautiful! It was so relaxing coming back to the cottage at night, we cooked every evening and walked into town a few times to experience the cute cafes. Thank you for our wonderful stay!

A great little cottage, very well equipped fantastic location and clean. Very informative and clear details from the owner.

We didn't mind the cleaning, it doesn't take too long if you factor it into your departure time.

Would definitely recommend this beautiful property.

The house was very lovely, confortable and well-decorated. We feel like at home.

It was very clean. The place is very quiet and so nice!
